    Same story. Took money upfront, pocketed it. Then kept delaying project day after day. We agreed on a refund that compensated for time and demo. No funds were ever returned. Avoid the aggravation.

    **** collected a deposit of $2750 to install an HVAC Ducane system on 18th Jan with the clear understanding that installation will happen on 19th Jan - ** kept making excuses of ill health and committed to completing the installation on Jan 30th, 2023 at 10 AM. Never showed up and for he last 4 days his phone goes into direct voice mail and he has not responded to texts or VM messages. I will be lodging a local police complaint to recover my money. I should have checked the BBB site earlier. It seems he has multiple complaints of a very similar nature.

    I paid Paul Cwikla a deposit of $1800 on 2/2/22 for him to buy a heat pump than come out & install the unit. He continued to give multiple excuses why he couldn’t complete the job including it was the tenants fault, weather was bad, his wife was sick, he got in a car accident, it’s his son’s birthday, he need to get blood work , etc. It’s now been over 5 months & haven’t received my deposit back as a refund. I also lost rent revenue of almost $30k do to the fact that this was a 2 year lease & we had to end the lease agreement early as the unit was to cold for the tenant to live at my unit based on the fact that the heat pump was never delivered & was never installed. I’m requesting a full refund of $1800 abruptly or I will file a lawsuit for all damages & file criminal charges for fraud by deception.
