We signed a contract for an addition to be constructed at our home on 11/17/17. The work for that addition began January, 2018 and was completed in May, 2018. The contract included a guarantee of the construction for 5 years which expires on 11/17/22. On 9/19/22 we noticed an issue where our carpet in the addition was wet under a step that was installed. We called Thomas Tyler office on 9/19/22 to report the problem. We received a call back from the office and a representative from Thomas Tyler arrived to look at the issue at 11:45am on 9/29/22. We explained the problem, the rep (the representative was actually the same person who operated as the foreman on the original project, name was *****). ***** took pictures of the outside and then asked us to see if we could determine where the problem was, either at the front or back of the step. We found that the water was occurring under the middle of the step and called the office on 10/3 to report it. No return call was received and I called again and left a message on 10/14/22 and 10/21/22 with no return call. I called again on 10/28/22 and someone did answer ( I believe the name was ****) who told me that either he or someone else would get back to me. I never heard from anyone so called and left a message again on 11/4/22 and 11/11/22. On 11/11/22 my message indicated that I was aware the 5 year period expired on 11/17/22 and I would have to pursue other channels if I did not receive a return call. As of this date I have not received a return call. We need this matter resolved to avoid further damage and/or mold that may be growing which could become a health issue. We were pleased when our request was addressed quickly but have had no response from the company after numerous calls. Again, we only seek resolution to our problem that is related to the construction of our addition and our claim was made within the 5 year period established in the original contract.
