    In early January 2023, I shopped at Makers. I made a roughly $32 purchase and was accidentally charged twice. The girl at the counter indicated that my card did not go through the first time but did the second time. When I checked my bank account a few days later, I had a double charge to this business. Both charges had posted to my account so both had gone through at the register. I went back to the shop to discuss the matter in person and the girl at the counter was very helpful. The owner was not in at the time but the girl took my information and gave me the owners info as well. This was on Sunday January 8th. By Wednesday January 11th I hadn't heard from the owner about a resolution so I texted her to see if there were any issues resolving it. She responded promptly and thanked me for reminding her about it and indicated that she would take care of it. I figured I would allow for some time to get the refund and for the bank to catch up. Almost two weeks later, still nothing. I texted her on Tuesday January 24th politely asking if there were any issues resolving my problem. She never responded. It is now February 18th and I do not have a refund for my double charge. I'm upset because I love this business and their unique goods and I feel like I cant even shop there anymore. The owner clearly does not care about the customer in this situation.
