Roofworks, *** redid our rubber roof and their driver drove over the top of our retaining wall and destroyed a large section of it. We have video proof of it. I contacted their liability insurer, **********************, and they have been of no help to process the claim. Roofworks has never sent anyone to even look at the damage to get it fixed. The ****************** has been no assistance in trying to get this corrected. I have included several initial emails. I called today and ***** gave me your name as the adjuster.I need to know what is being done to find someone to correct this damage. I have sent several emails to *** and **** and get no response. I have sent text messages to ****, who stated he contacted two landscaping companies to get a price. The owner of the property, ***** ******** and I have been in contact with each other. He is the owner of the property in question and ***** is the tenant. ***** has instructed me to not have any contact with *****, that I am to go through him with any and all phone calls, text messages etc. Which we have done.Customer Answer

I have attached the K-1 forms for ************* It will show that there are two owners of ************, **** A. ******** and ***** P. ********. **** ******** refuses to talk to owner **** A. ********.
***** does not have the authority to tell Mr. ******** not to talk to the other owner. I am ****** wife and submitted this complaint for him as he is not computer literate.
If **** must do it, I will provide his email for responses, but it will include the same documents as I have already submitted. We also have a video showing how the damage was done and the employee who did
the damage has admitted to both **** and I that he did it. ****** email is ********************************
Also, you will see that **** A. ******** is the designated signer for all tax purposes and has been since 2014, when ************ was organized by ***** *. and **** A. ********.
We decided to add our son, ***** P. ********, to the LLC.

March 2024 ROOFWORKS installed roof. Approximately 4 months ago I noticed that the frame of the one part of the roof is bowed out away from the roof. I have been calling and calling for the past 4 months for someone to take a look at the roof. I ONLY received the runaround. They kept telling me that theyre so busy. Then the next time I received a call from some peculiar man grumbling that someonell be der by middle of nx week. He never left his name. Never said hello when I answered. Nobody ever came to my house. If they did. I was Not home. He didnt give me a day Nor time when he or someone would be here. I called them yet Again ******** said oh he was already out there and checked out the corner. I TOLD ******** that its NOT the corner!!!! She brushed me off yet again as if it is nothing. Quite frankly Im SO **** disgusted by this whole ordeal and Jennifers runaround. There are MANY MORE incidents with ******** that Ive had but right now and too weary to write them. All I want is to have my roof issue resolved. I REALLY NEED to resolve this issue and am at the next step before involving my attorney. This is unacceptable.Customer Answer

11/9/22 company installed rubber roof on roof over my garage (Job 22-1254). 11/14/22 I called to complain about numerous bubbles on the surface and shoddy workmanship especially in corners. I texted multiple pictures and received text that they were received. No one called me back so I called again 11/17/22 - no response. 11/21/22 I called the sales rep. and was told to call the company, as after the sale, he has nothing to do with it. 11/23 I sent more pictures and was told they were received. 12/13/22 I received an invoice. I called again that I was unsatisfied with the work. I was told that the bubbles should dissipate over weather changes and that the company would contact me in the spring. They did contact me 3/21/23 and I told them the roof looked no better than my original complaint. I sent new pictures. Then I received no contact whatsoever. 7/24/23 I finally called them back to give them a courtesy call that I would be contacting the BBB and begin writing negative reviews. 7/25/23 the owner came to look at the work. This is the first time anyone from the company had come to look at the work at all. He said that workers would repair the work within the next two weeks. He "didn't like" the way one of the folds were lifting. I told him it was always that way. The last thing I told him was how important communication was as that there had been none in the past. He agreed. I have not heard from anyone in the company since. I paid $9,575. My concerns have been met with severe lack of response (except for when emailing the bill), sarcasm, excuses about how far away I lived and their busy schedule, and a disregard for the quality of work, as when I told them that it looked worse than my original roof and was NOT $10 work; I was only asked if it worked, as if the look of the roof meant nothing after all that money spent. In response to Ms. ********'s complaint, we have been out to look at her roof & although we agree that this is strictly a cosmetic issue, it was not a priority because the original issue with her roof was leaking into her garage & kitchen. The roof has not leaked since we installed the new rubber roof. She was given a $400. discount for the rubber roof.Customer Answer

All I want at this point is for Mr. Balzano to keep his word. He said he would call within two weeks and fix the issues we discussed. He has done neither since July, 25th 2023. The flap (picture attached) is more than a cosmetic issue; and he even admitted that it may lead to future leaking problems. His priorities are not my concern, and I would think this could have been resolved within a year on any priority. There is no evidence of a $400 discount. I did not think it would even come to contacting the BBB and could have been resolved with simple communication. Since this simple avenue has not worked, I will file this complaint and will next contact the Courts of Blair County, and/or the PA Attorney General Bureau of Consumer Protection.Regards,

On may 16th, 2023 I discovered the roofing company did not install the venting foam at the edge of the roof they installed. I had to call an exterminator to kill the bees from them not putting the foam under the metal roof. Later that day I called then texted Don the production manager and Mike the sales manager to let them know what was missed with their install. Their reply was they would both investigate and get back to me.
On May 17th, 2023 Mike texted me that the crew assaigned to my house did not take 10 rolls of “ultra-vent foam” to the job site. Don was scheduling his crew to come back and make the necessary repair using the foam. Don also texted me the owner would be inspecting the job on May 19th, 2023. He did not show (was in Erie Pa. Acording to Don).
May 19th 2023 the two crew (supervisor Dave) came to the house. Dave told me the top of the roof had foam installed already. I let him know the top part was not installed with the foam. Dave said his crew would have to come back to finish the top, but would finish the bottom section this day. I watched them correct the roof above my porch, but then left for work. Later that evening I texted Don if all the repairs were 100% completed including my upper roof. Don texted me that Dave said the work was all completed.
May 20th, 2023 I climbed on my ladder to inspect the top of my roof. The foam was not installed as promised. I immediately called and texted Don and Mike. Don called back and said he was sorry and does’nt know what is going on with David. Don said he was sorry and understood i spent $22,000 and wanted the job done corect. Don then said he could come over with his best roofer Dylan Sunday May 21st. Don said they would be there around 9:30 am to 10am but never showed up.
I texted Don and asked why they did’nt come. Don told me in text that Dylan’s wife kicked him out of the house and he could’nt make this stuff up. He said this upcoming week is going to be nice and will do the job then.Business Response

The original Crew were sent to resolve this and did not complete to my satisfaction nor the customers. We are sending a totally different crew with the understanding that they are not to leave the project until Mr. ****** is satisfied and happy with his new roof.Customer Answer
