      Ability Recovery Services LLC 284 Main St, DuPont, PA 18641-1960 Account #: *********** Fraud has been committed on my consumer report, which violates the FCRA & FDCPA. Ability Recovery Services LLC is using extortionate means to collect on alleged debt, I do not owe that resulted from extension of credit which violates Title 18 USC 892-894 and constitutes racketeering activities and extortion. This is a notice sent as per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (F.D.C.P.A.), 15 U.S.C. 1692 (G) Section 809 (B). This notice states that your claim is disputed and validation of the account is required: * Purchase Agreement * Evidence that vou are a licensed debt collector *Chain of Title *Proof that vou are license debt collector to collect in my state. * A requested copy of your State Department of Commerce and Insurance Certificate. Fraud has been committed on my consumer report, which violates the FCRA and FDCPA. Ability Recovery Services LLC is using extortionate means to collect on alleged debt.       I am not liable for this debt with Ability Recovery Service and do not have a contract with Ability Recovery Service. There is no agreement that bears my signature where I agreed to pay the creditor, and, as this is a medical account, there is no copy of any HIPAA authorization. There is no copy of HIPAA release that releases my medical information to them, therefore by providing such information, they are in VIOLATION of my HIPAA rights. There is no agreement with Ability Recovery Service that grants the authority to collect on this alleged debt, or proof of acquisition by purchase or assignment, and authorization under subtitle D of the ARRA, SEC. 13401. APPLICATION OF SECURITY PROVISIONS AND PENALTIES TO BUSINESS ASSOCIATES OF COVERED ENTITIES; and SEC. 13407(1) BREACH OF SECURITY. The term “breach of security” means, with respect to unsecured PHR identifiable health information of an individual in a personal health record, acquisition of such information without the authorization of the individual. Enforcement of penalties against Ability Recovery Service is covered under the penalty rules of the Omnibus Final Rule effective 09/23/2013 interpreting and implementing various provisions of the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act of 2009 (HITECH Act) as issued 11/30/2009 and the penalty rules of the FCRA and FACTA including FACT Act changes final rules effective July 1, 2010. Date reported on my credit report 2-6-2023 (**********) and 2-1-2023 (******** & *******) Account number ***********.       This company was notified to send me an itemized report on this debt and told me they could not do that,they are also reporting the same debt more than once I want it removed next step is attorney general to deal with these scam artists

      I am rejecting this response because:that agreement proves nothing i never lived at that address or signed any agreement with said company and if a original contract with my wet signature isn't furnished or presented to me within 30 days i will be taking legal action against ability recovery services under fcra as follows 
      As per Section 609, I am entitled to see the source of the information, which is the original contract that contains my signature. And if you are unable to verify the account with the original contract, the information should be removed from my credit report within 30 days.

      I have attempted, on several occasions, to settle a debt with Ability Recovery Services. Ive requested all communication be limited to mail only, for my records, but these representatives continue to call me. They have refused to provide me with settlement options in response to the letters I have sent them.

      ABILITY RECOVERY SERVI (Original Creditor: ****** ********** ** ****) Account number: **********Balance: $517 Date Opened: 03/09/2023 I received a notice that I have a collection from ABILITY RECOVERY SERVI on my credit report. It says it was opened on 03/09/2023 for balance of $517.00 with account number starting in ********* that I am not aware of nor I am responsible for. I never went into business with this company or signed agreements with them so they should not be reporting anything on my credit. This is a violation of my rights as a consumer according to the FCRA and FDCPA. I would like for this collection to be removed ASAP or I will file a CFPB and FTC report.

      Ability recovery is on my credit report for an old debt. Called the company back in February 2023, settled on the payment and paid the same day. I was then told that I would receive a letter from them in the mail and that the debt would be cleared off my credit report within 30 days. When I call I get nothing but attitude and hung up on. The debt is still on my report and has been paid since February of this year.

      I am not liable for the debt with ABILITY RECOVERY SERVICE. I do not have a contract with ** ****************************. You guys need to handle this issue. This has been going on for a long time now that I have seen my information. That's messing my Character & name up as a person. They are in violation & told me 30 days when I had fraud. A identity theft with police report I had attached as well, they are in major violation.
