August 2022-April 2024 We paid around $60,000 Our contractor stated that the contractor was responsible for purchase of all materials, however the contractor stated that they didn't have any money and we purchased most of the items for the project. They failed for roof during a 4 day rainstorm causing our floors and walls to get wet and moldy so we need to clean and tear up the carpet in certain rooms. Still have soft spots in our floor. They failed to properly install our propane lines causing a leak and loss of a full tank to which we had to refill and hire a gas company to install the lines properly and refill the tanks again. We had a pile of trash in the driveway for over a year. Contractor failed to purchase a dumpster as he said he would. We had to purchase the dumpster and do 20 hours of physical labor to clean it up. They refused to work several times and claimed that they weren't being paid although the *** contractor paid them based off job completion. We had to purchase th vent pipe and pick up because they failed to find one. I made at least ten trips to ********** filling my truck with wood, drywall, nails, doors. windows etc. For the last 8 months of the job they did not have a work truck and came in cars. Most days went from 11:30-3pm it took a year and 8 months to finish the job. Contractor stated that he owed us money but never gave back what he was supposed. We've called and texted several times for a response to fix items that still need to be completed. We either ger ill be up next week or don't get a response at all. This has been ongoing for several months. Not only was I paying the mortgage for the home but also funded the project. I'm still paying back money for the construction that caused me to max out all my credit cards and become late on my mortgage

As you can see above PlasterKing passed all inspections for HUD and for local municipality and the bank who provided the Loan. The homeowner himself signed off and admitted the work was done correctly and completely as contracted. I was paid HUDS portion directly from the bank, and not the homeowner as they claim.  The homeowner was responsible for any extra work and or any amount in the original bid above the *** approved loan. The Homeowner failed to make payments and still hasn't til present. I did not remove the trash as the homeowners had a large outstanding balance they refused to pay. Also you can see in the email correspondence the homeowner was reimbursed for any material in the scope of the work. They always knew that I would not be laying out material cost up front because I paid the first 15k up front to complete the deck and their payment arrangements changed from the original agreed contract and I didn't get paid in full per stages of the job and was unwilling to invest anymore funds up front according to the new payment schedule presented. If needed I have further documentation proving I am owed almost 20k. I originally did not place a lein on the property because I personally know ***** and at the time he was having financial issues. Since I have been made aware that they are taking advantage of the situation I will be filing a lein.

I am rejecting this response because:

    Regards,

    ***** *****

The information provided from plasterking is not accurate. They didn't pay ******. It was ******. They were also paid back for that. I have receipts and documentation communicating how much we paid and what we were actually credited for paying. We almost $60,000 for materials. When ***** stated we didn't have the funds that is completely untrue. If we didn't have the funds we couldn't have purchased all the material. In fact I have several messages sent directly from ***** that he did not have the funds to pay his workers and at the time his personal bills. As it states in the home owner contractor agreement,#3 the contractor is supposed to purchase all materials and oversee all aspects of the job and ensure his employees are fit to do the job. This didn't happen on any level. Also #7 it states the contractor is supposed to clean up all trash and remove from the premises again these are both breaches of the agreement. On several occasions it was communicated that he would rent the dumpster. He never communicated that they wouldn't put out any more money until now. It was only stated that they didn't have the money to buy anything. We restructured the loan and moved items around so his staff could continue working. We had to hire other people to fix what they messed up including,  kitchen window, front door, electrical wires and gas leak on two occasions. Not to mention the roof that was left exposed causing pur floors and walls to be damaged. We tried several times to communicate with Gtasi but he either told us he would be up next week or just ignored phone calls, emails and text messages. The final draw was signed with the agreement that he would still come and fix items but after his final payment he didn't come back. We were left with trash covering our driveway, cracks in our new floor, an extra heating bill from the leak, broken rails, wood between are concrete and a large credit card balance from buying all the material outside of the front porch.
