It is unacceptable for a business employee to text a customer privately without their consent. Additionally, subjecting another person to predatory behavior in a business establishment is illegal. Unfortunately, a male secretary who works at the reception desk took it upon himself to text my personal number without permission. This predatory and stalking behavior was not taken seriously by the business owners. Instead, they decided to retain the male employee, despite seeing the texts he sent to me. In the texts, he accused me of being responsible for an incident of vandalism and did not take my concerns seriously. These unsolicited and predatory behaviors show that Bob, and the employee in question, have no regard for the safety of women who frequent the establishment.
While Bob is skilled in addressing and repairing issues with my vehicle, I do not feel confident entrusting him with my personal safety. I feel it is important to note that if you prioritize businesses that prioritize and treat women with dignity and respect, this establishment may not meet your standards. Regrettably, it is not a secure environment, and the proprietors may hold you responsible for the inappropriate conduct of their staff.
