The most scandalous business out there. The company sends out scratch off's that say you won. You call the number you won just come down to "claim" your prize. Ask like I don't have to buy anything? No... Are you sure I "actually" won Yes... I know I'm not the only one who put faith that maybe I actually could catch a break and end up at a sleezy car dealership don't be fooled.Cunningham Chrysler of Edinboro, Inc.

The consumer in question was upset because he won $5 while not being required to purchase anything. He spent no money here and walked out with a $5 bill. This was, in fact, one of the prizes listed on the sales flyer he received. Where else can one enter a business, spend nothing and walk out with $5?Review fromNina S

Hi - This is the general manager of the dealership. The consumer purchased a vehicle 18 months ago. This is the first time we have heard about an affordability issue for this consumer. I am retrieving the deal file and will reach out to this consumer to see if we can help.Review fromCraig S

5 starsWe went to the dealership to look at used Pacifica vans. The sales person showed us how we could get a brand new Pacifica for the price of a used one at other dealers. The service was exceptional.Review fromEmily B.

We bought a ***** crv from them. We immediately had to put oil in (yes they sold it to ** with no oil even though they put an oil sticker in the window) also had to buy a dip stick and battery. Now we are putting more tires and brakes on it but the emissions light keeps coming on and they are trying to charge us for everything. We haven't even had the car a year yet. Charged $70 for a diagnostic for then to say it's a bad manifold gasket(gaskets and seals are covered under our warranty) Our personal mechanic says there's a sound coming from the engine and the cost to fix it will be $2300 and it could have been caused by being driven with no oil in it(all engine whatever is also covered under our warranty)Talked to showroom manager(*****) he was supposed to call back but never did and we waited almost another 3 weeks to call back... Left a message with some lady giving a summary of everything wrong... Waited another 2 or 3 weeks and still no call The emissions light has been on since a month after getting vehicle and they want to nickel and dime is for everything even what's supposed to be covered under warrantyCunningham Chrysler of Edinboro, Inc.

Hi - Here are the facts as backed up by the attachments provided. On April 11, 2023, we completed $1409.65 in pre-delivery expenses on the 2015 ***** *** the customer purchased. Included in the pre-delivery process were a ****************** change, two new tires, new brake pads, rotors, valve cover gasket and other as needed items. The consumer purchased the *** 2 days later, on April 13, with ******* miles on it. In May, the consumer returned with the 'check engine light' on. This was after putting **** miles on the vehicle. We diagnosed the problem as an O2 censor, and replaced ****** censor AT NO CHARGE. In October, the consumer brought the vehicle in because the 'service engine soon' light had come on. We are now 6 months and **** miles AFTER the purchase.. The entire repair for a leaking ****** would have been $135. The consumer elected not to have the work done at that time. The 'nickel and diming to death,' in reality was our dealership covering $445 for an O2 censor with no charge to the consumer, and $65 to diagnose the customer's vehicle in October. This claim of needing a battery, dipstick and an oil change are not backed by the work done on this vehicle, nor on our reaction to ****** censor. This is proof of how we stand behind our vehicles. The consumer does have a vehicle service contract, and also bought from a dealer with an owner there daily. The consumer is welcome to meet with me to discuss any issues. It would be a friendly conversation with an eye towards making everyone involved happy.Emily B.

I shouldn't have to waste another trip from ********* to edinboro. I was told multiple times someone would call me back and figure this out. We were told anything that went wrong would be covered. The one guy even said you would fix the paint chipped off. We were hesitant in getting a vehicle because of what we just went thru with the last one. I was told well instead of dumping thousands into a car we can get you in a reliable one today. You may THINK they did an oil change but they did not. I have been screwed over one to many times so I made sure I had a witness to the no oil even had the guy at AutoZone put the oil in and order a dip stick. I understand that the battery is on us and the oil CHANGES. I keep great records and care of our vehicles I can have ************ vouch for that. We are about to have $600 in this car in less than a year. I thank you for changing that 1st sensor that went out right after getting the car. We go to work and home so it's not like we put a bunch of extra miles on it. The *************** said the manifold was the 1st step then if that didn't fix it we would have to pay for something else and then if that didn't shut the emissions light off we would go to the 2nd O2 sensor. That's why we didn't have it done. We shouldn't have to pay God knows how much before fixing the issue. I understand you are under staffed but that's no excuse.Review fromAntigoni K

5 starsI went to this dealership with the intention of purchasing a car. After sharing my finaces with the sales person and finance manager, it was suggested that leasing would be more beneficial for me, and the staff explained patiently the pros and cons of each option I had. I made my decision for a lease and I was out of the store with my new car in less than an hour. Everybody I interacted with that day was exceptionally professional, resourceful, and friendly! I recommend this business to everyone looking for any kind of vehicle service.Review fromAlice C

This consumer purchased a vehicle from us in August. She traded in an economy car and upgraded to a luxurious SUV. She later decided the payment was too high on the SUV. We have offered her several options in regards to trading her current luxury SUV for a smaller SUV at a lower payment. She has yet to come into the dealership to discuss these options. There is nothing nefarious occurring here. It's almost impossible to address such a vague comment as was placed by this consumer in her review, other than to say we document every transaction in writing in order to ensure accuracy and honesty. No lies have been told, nor has any bribery been attempted. We remain dedicated to this consumer, and would love to help her in any way possible. If she will come in and meet with the owner, who is here Monday to Friday every week, perhaps we can, indeed, help her.Review fromKeegan H

I purchased a vehicle recently and the fact that they had the wrong VIN on file should have been my first red flag. They were marketing the vehicle as a 2019 with ~37k miles. It was a 2020. That's a big difference. The second red flag was when the salesperson that was brought in to help with their event extremely unprofessional. There isn't a way to misunderstand "You're so pretty and fit, you must work out. Do you have a boyfriend?" Thirdly, the salesman failed to return my license to me, which I only noticed when I went into my wallet a few days later. After calling the facility, I was told they didn't have it, no one had turned it in. After letting the manager know I was coming down to look around myself, as I pulled in, they found it. Fourth, within 48 hours of having the vehicle, the dashboard told me that my oil needed changed. When I went to the dealership to get my license, I asked about it and was told that the service department must have not done the reset and to make an appointment and they would check and make sure that the oil was changed and do the reset or just do the reset if they needed. Fifth, upon arriving to the dealership for what I thought was going to be an oil change, I asked about a missing inspection sticker. They had sold me a car that was not legal to drive. After 2 hours of waiting, I had to go to the service desk to see what was going on. I was surprised when I saw my car on a lift and was told that they had to do an entire inspection because they HAD NOT DONE SO WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS TRADED IN. The car ended up needing new rear breaks, so they also sold me a car that wasn't considered safe. Their saving grace was that they didn't charge me. Sixth, I specifically asked if the car had Sirius radio and was told yes. Upon calling to transfer my account, that was a lie. I was told that they could install a replacement radio. I agreed and they took my car to an audio shop for 5 days to install a $65 adaptor to plug into the aux.Cunningham Chrysler of Edinboro, Inc.

I am the owner of Cunningham's of Edinboro, and have fully vetted Ms. ********* statements about her purchase of the 2020 Jeep Renegade. The VIN was correct, but the salesman did err in telling her it was a 2019. It is a 2020. That being said, this was an error in Ms. ********* favor. If we had told her it was a 2020 and it was a 2019, that would be a problem. The vehicle in question was traded in 6 days before Ms. ******* purchased it. At the time, fully HALF of our mechanics were out with medical issues. It had not been serviced when she took delivery, and this was our mistake. Of course, this is our fault, not the customer's. Once we saw our mistake, we took care of the inspection and also did a full synthetic oil change, all at no charge to her. In regards to the missing license, I just checked with our sales manager. When she called, he did not have her license. By the time she arrived, he discovered that our receptionist had her license and it was returned to her. As the owner of the dealership, my office is in the showroom. I am quite available to customers, and help in any way possible. I have had no contact from Ms. *******, and welcome her to call the dealership and set an appointment to meet with me at her convenience. We were not perfect on the sale of this Jeep, and for that, I apologize. I am also proud that our team did not try to charge Ms. ******* for any of the issues she had. As I teach my staff, mistakes can be made, and when you do, fix the mistake and make sure the customer is made whole. Ms. *******, I would love to meet you at some time in the future. Your next oil change and tire rotation will be my gift to you for being a valued customer.
