    On 8/9/24 I entered a lease which was fraudulently induced. This company represented the following things:That I would be provided a unit without carpet That I would have access to the pet spa That I had an account manager for my account (which has no ability to actually manage my account)That my ********************** would be an upgraded unit When I got to my apartment my outlets didnt work, internet cords were cut, cracks in all my shower tiles, window screens had holes, and it smelled like a basement. I was charged for renters insurance I already had and to date it has not been returned. The water in my sink does not go down. I was supposed to be transferred to a new unit. The people are condescending and I want to be released from this lease since they claim they arent giving me a new apartment and that they wont release me.Ive tried numerous times to rectify the situation with them. They misrepresented what was available to me and the condition of the unit. I should be released from this lease and allowed to reside elsewhere without incurring additional fees.

    in March 2023, I had a massive amount of water enter my living room area. Instead of the office coming out to check on the condition when I called it into the maintenance office, they determined my issues wasn't serious enough to address immediately and sent a large trash can to collect water in the already damaged area. The water accumulation was an issue due to the creation of potential mold accumulation. My allergies are an issue and this is potentially why, potential mold in the ceiling. My concern is that mold would be an issue after the rain. Weeks later, the office decided to send Maintenance in to clean the area. The leak was in the center of my living room ceiling which made my living conditions impossible as the apartment was only 800 square feet. At the time, I worked from home and my office was my living room. It was impossible to work with water dripping on my computer equipment and the leak spreading across my ceiling. This was an unconventional situation. While Lynnewood Garden's didn't find the leak issue and my living / health concerns important enough to address until days later, I found other living arrangement. I had been a resident for over 10 years and my rent was up to date. This happened in March 2023 and I didn't pay March 2023 rent as a result of this issue. The water leak created a mess in my apartment and Lynnewood Garden's did not have a sense of urgency in resolving the issue. This was the 2nd time I had encountered a leak issue in my apartment.Additionally, my computer equipment was destroyed and my paperwork damaged. According my rental agreement, Lynnewood Garden's is responsible for any water repairs to the apartment. Due to the fact that water creates mold if the area is not dried out properly, I'm concerned about the indoor air quality and how it could affect my health and vacated the property. Lynnewood Garden made no accommodation offer and did not follow-up with me timely regarding repairs.
