  My name is *********************.***********************************************************. The company I have a complaint with is Atlee E Yoder Construction. ***************************************. ************. I contacted him December 2023 because I was having problems with water running off the sides of my roof ruining a wall inside. He guaranteed me a new roof would fix it. It not only did not fix the problems it left me with 4 new leaks I never had before. When I complained,he came on a dry day,looked up at my roof and said"there is no way that is leaking. You need to ignore it,stop worrying so much. You are lonely and just need company." When I complained about my damaged gutters,he ignored me. After that,he would not respond. I hired 2 different roofers to correct the original problems. (at this point I was not aware of other issues). Both roofers said that the roofing was a "shitty job". They said the panels were not even screwed down. I thought the problems were fixed so I wrote and asked him for a refund of $500.00 to cover the cost of the 2 roofers and he sent it. In April when we had all the continual heavy rain,I got my 4 new leaks I never had before. I now have water stains on my ceiling. I hired a 3rd roofer. He said in all the years he has done roofs this is one of the worst jobs he has ever seen! He said most of the panels were not screwed down,some still had the screws just laying on the roofing. He could pick the edges of the panels up with his fingers. In one leak there was an actual hole in the metal roofing. In another, nothing was ever closed up underneath a window on my walkway.The other 2 leaks were caused by loose panels. I had to pay him to s**** the panels down and caulk all the edges. On the back of my house,they cut the panel too short so they actually pulled my gutter down over it leaving me with 6" of gutter not covering my house so the water is running down everywhere.In the front of the house they pulled the gutter loose from the house. I now have to pay for new gutters. They removed cedar shingles from the corners of the roof.They put a roof on my shed. They broke a window. They cut the roof panels too short so they actually cut off the ends of the shed roof to fit the panels!I have pictures of all of this taken by the other roofers. In May I wrote and asked him for a refund of half my money to pay for all these damages. He has not responded

  We installed a new metal roof on house for I*** ******.  Everything on Iris statement is a lie.  I looked at the ceiling for dampness.  After a big rain storm not a drop .  The roof does not leak.  As far as hiring other roofer not true.  We did not move gutter or brake a window.  There were at 6 or 7 cats in her house pissing on her walls.  She was doing laundry in her kitchen using 5 gallon buckets.  The house is a real mess stinks real bad.  We did not do anything with gutters.  This lady needs to take a shower she realy stinks she really needs help and medacation some clothing.  Iris is a very dirty woman and smells like cat piss.  The worth customer in 30 years.

  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

  
  This is not true! I am a very clean woman and only have 2 cats. They do not go anywhere except in their litter boxes! I shower and do not smell! Mr Y**** never came into my house to look at my ceiling. He only came back one time when he stayed outside and told me "I needed to ignore things,stop worrying so much and that I was lonely and needed company." In fact when Mr. Y**** came into my house to collect his payment he told me I had a very nice home. I have pictures from all the other roofers to verify everything I have said is the truth! I will furnish the names and phone numbers for these roofers if you would like to have them.
  The reason the wall in my house is ruined is because the roof leaked and the water came into my house. He guaranteed me a new roof would fix it. It did not. In fact,he caused me problems I did not have before he came! Since the damage to my wall is along the ceiling,there is absolutely no way my cats could urinate on the area even if they tried! 
  I do not wish to get into a "he said,she said "situation with Mr. Y****. I simply want half my money refunded to have the repairs made for the issues he caused. As I stated, I have pictures as proof and 3 independent roofers to verify what I say is the truth. If he feels he can not refund me the money owed to me,I will file a claim with the magistrate and let him decide where the truth is. 
  I am a clean,honest person with a nice,clean home.I hired Mr Y**** in good faith expecting to have a good job performed by him. I paid him immediately upon completion of the job by check which cleared right away for him. I did everything right. If anyone is interested,they are welcome to come tour my house or I will take pictures and send them to you.
