    In October 2020, I arranged with ***********************, owner 0f Diesel and Automotive, to rebuild the transmission in my antique **** ****. In addition, there were a few other items I requested that he repair. I began asking him to complete the repairs and return the completed project to me in June 2020. I have repeatedly contacted him to please complete and return my vehicle. Initially, I was not pressed for the completion and return of the Jeep and did not pressure him for it. Since April 2023, I have repeatedly asked him to complete the Jeep. Each time he assures me he will have it finished on a specific date, but the Jeep is not completed. The last time, a part was missing. He always has some weak excuse. Most recently, he assured me the Jeep would be completed on June 30th, 2023, but he was not at his shop and would not take my calls or texts. I have told him repeatedly that I want my property completed and returned. It is as though he does not wish to return it. He simply kept making excuses for not honoring my request. I would like to have my property returned to me completed, as promised.

    Customer brought their antique **** in initially to get the transmission rebuilt in October of 2020. The transmission was removed. During the Covid 19 pandemic, we struggled to get the necessary parts for such an antique vehicle throughout this time period. While we were in possession of the vehicle, the customer added additional work to be completed. While having the vehicle the customer had brought us other projects that were completed on time. There must have been a communication gap between the customer and myself. Text messages and phone calls were returned throughout the process. Customer would stop in sporadically to talk, there was never a discussion of wanting this vehicle back by a certain time in those conversations. The jeep was completed and returned to the customer prior to receiving notification from the BBB. Customer told us to respond to the BBB with problem resolved. At this time we are not sure that this is a valid complaint.
