      ****** *****, a senior over 60 years old, brought 4 children to Waldameer, 2 children had season passes and 2 did not so he purchased 2 tickets. He was not told by the cashier that he too needed to purchase a ticket as he was simply monitoring 4 children and was not going on any rides. He took the children to the entry gate and was told that he needed to purchase a ticket. Andrew, the manager, was aggressive, mean and rude to the senior and told him there are signs and the information is online. ****** ***** has NEVER been to Waldameer before, he has never gone online to the waldameer site, and he DID not see any signs. I however have been there numerous times during the 2022 season with my son a season pass holder and took him to the waterpark and I did not pay. I explained this over the phone to Andrew. Andrew was mean and nasty to me. Instead of APOLOGIZING for the inconvenience and the fact the cashiers should do a better job and the people at the gate as well, Andrew wanted to chastise a senior and me as well. This is unacceptable. In addition to this Andrew charged a senior full price. Of course ****** ***** did not know until we checked the site and it clearly states that the price for seniors is $27.25, yet he charged ****** ***** $33.95. Why didn't Andrew check the site and read the signs? Did Andrew not know the policy? Had Andrew not been so obnoxious and rude and provided good customer service, this probably would not have happened. Instead he wanted to berate a senior citizen and overcharge. I left two messages on 7/22 for Paul & George and have not received a return call. I emailed 2 or 3x requesting a phone call to discuss the experience so that I could provide the details and receive resolution and still have not received a return phone call.
