    Outstanding issue with live stream which we pay our cable provider for.... On Sat, Apr 23, 2022, 7:19 AM BRL CPA wrote: Back for another summer at conneaut lake .. Back for more problems with WICU live stream. We use a laptop to stream NBC content through NBC.com last year we got no video feed. This year, on NBC.com, we get video and audio feed for all stations available on nbc.com except for WICU. When we stream WICU, all we get is video and no audio MSNBC, CNBC, USA network etc works fine. Therefore, this is not an issue with Verizon or authentication. The same behavior is found throughout multiple web browsers including chrome, Firefox and edge. Therefore, it is not a web browser issue. The s Android phone and on my fire stick. Please respond with what the audio problem is and when it will be fixed.

    Mr. L*** has been in contact with our engineering team over the past year. We are aware of his issue of
    not being able to receive NBC.com through his browser and we have been looking into it.


    We have also recommended other options for him to watch our content, Free over the Air Antenna is an
    option. Armstrong Cable Service, Streaming Services such as Hulu and YouTubeTV, and finally Satellite
    services Dish Network and DirecTV.


    If Mr. L*** is looking to watch the local news, he can go to our website, www.***********.com or to
    www.***************.com to get extended 24 hour local news and content.


    We will continue to research the situation and work on getting it rectified.

    Better Business Bureau:

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

    I am not sure what to say....they admit there is an issue, but have not fixed and provide no timeframe.

    Regarding over the air antenna, the business had already been informed that we tried that and it didn't work. To continue to suggest that as a resolution is disingenuous.

    With respect to other services such as Armstrong, Hulu, etc., My understanding is that these are pay services. As the business is well aware, we already pay for their service through our Verizon FiOS cable subscription. Specifically, we bundle our cable, internet and phone service to achieve monetary savings. Our existing pay subscription allows access to over 80 channels, 79 of which work seemlessly and without issue.  Therefore, it would not make financial sense to pay a second subscription for channels that we already pay Verizon for. This is solely an issue with WICU and NBC, so any attempt to divert attention from that issue is rejected outright.
