    I had entrusted my home inspection prior to purchasing my home in December 2022 to cobblestone inspection.
    Their agreement states they inspect retaining walls. They failed to provide context around the extreme and visible rotting. I tried to contact on numerous occasions and I have attached the prior email correspondence. They stated based on the photos it is weathered not rotted so they are not liable. This is infact not correct and they are refusing to provide their insurance carriers information. We would not have purchased the home without negotiating the costly repair needed had they properly inspected the home.
    The central air conditioning also does not work and the second heater does not work.
    Those two issues I have not pushed. However, the retaining wall is a serious and hazardous concern. They are responsible for failing to inspect and advise of the condition of the retaining wall and they acknowledged they are liable due to it being rotted in email attached.
