On September 19, 2024, I purchased three six-month policies with State Farm Insurance thru the ** Borrero Insurance *** in ****, ** for two vehicles and rental insurance on my apartment. I paid for these policies for six months as agreed, but when the renewal became due on March 19, 2025, I was advised that there would an increase of my premium on these policies despite no accidents, tickets or any other changes. And why? Because State Farm had made an error in September 2024 on my renter's insurance policy by listing me as a homeowner rather than a renter. As this was clearly State Farm's error and not mine, I advised the State Farm agent that I should not have to pay for their mistake, however, the agent insisted that I would have to pay State Farm back regardless, and this amount was debited from my checking account along with the April 2025 monthly premium.I am now asking that State Farm refund the $30 they charged me for their error, however, since I have little faith that they will do so, I am in the process of looking for other auto insurance before my next premium is due in May 2025. State Farm's refusal to take responsibility for their own mistake in this matter is not acceptable.Regards,***** ******

I canceled my insurance over 2 months ago. The agency was given plenty of advance notice. I have been told many times by the agency that I will be getting my refund returned by the "end of the week." This has been going on for 2 months. I have not been issued any refund and I am very upset.

State Farm corporate handles all refunds for
    cancellations.  We processed everything
on our end correctly and State Farm took care of getting the policy cancelled
as well as any refund sent out.  This
process has nothing to do with the Jeremy Borrero State Farm Agency.  Everything was handled correctly and there is
nothing else we can do to help ******** ******
