  On January 7, 2025, BBB of Western Pennsylvania requested that the business substantiate, modify, or discontinue its advertised claims on the business’s website and social media pages to comply with the BBB Code of Advertising.   BBB also noted there are photos used on Sylvania Properties' advertising which also appear on other websites which do not appear to be affiliated with Sylvania Properties.  We requested that if the photos do not belong to Sylvania Properties that this be disclosed on the company’s website to better manage consumer expectations.

  The BBB code of Advertising states that  "Advertisements should be truthful, sincere offers to sell. Advertisers have a responsibility to have substantiation for all claims made and should be able to provide that substantiation upon request.  All advertising that may mislead or deceive consumers should be avoided."

  As of February 13, 2025 the business has not responded to our review.  BBB suggests you read and understand company promotional materials, contracts, disclaimers and check company references prior to doing business.
