The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the government’s allegations, which have not yet been proven.
On June 26, 2025 the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office announced it had filed charges against Tina Silveus, owner of Totally You Fitness and Spa, along with three managers. The charges stem from accusations that the business is a front for a commercial sex-selling operation. The four have been charged with corrupt organizations, dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities, promoting prostitution, and conspiracy to commit these crimes.
An investigation found that since 2016 Silveus had employed up to 30 people as sex workers under the guise of being massage therapists. None of these individuals had a massage therapist license.
The matter is pending. All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty. For more details click here for the press release.
