So I was using my water softener perfectly fine and then in July I started having issues with it so I texted the owner *** and he gave me the instructions to bypass my unit and instead of someone would have to come out and service it. So I have not been paying my monthly bill every month because I cant use the unit because *** said I wouldnt have to start paying for it again until I could use the unit.

    Business Response

    Date: 03/25/2025

Upon reviewing Mr. *******’s account: Mr. ******* is correct; he reached out
to me after 7 PM on a weekday via text message in July. I did tell him we would come
out and look over the equipment. Somehow this was an oversight in the office, and he
was not contacted. I then saw Mr. ******* in September of 2024, I believe at his place
of employment, his employer is a large account of Culligan’s. We had a conversation, I
    apologized and believe I indicated he should call the office directly due to my schedule;
I travel daily and do not manage the service schedule.

If a customer is having an issue with their water treatment, car, dishwasher, etc.
one would think that the individual would call or email the business in question.
Anyhow, I typically do a three-month review of all delinquent accounts. The
company policy is to contact all customers that are 90 days delinquent to resolve the
past due balance or simply remove the equipment. Upon reviewing Mr. *******’s
account, it became evident that he is typically in the rears.

As in any business, one can only deal with constant delinquency for so long and
must collect or take back their property. Attached is a copy of Mr. *******’s account
reconciliation, dated from 1/1/2022, the month he started service with us.

So, in order the settle this matter I will make the following offer: I will credit his
account for rental and late fees since July of 2024 moving forward to March 30 th , which
is a total of $275.10 to clear his account. Mr. ******* can continue to rent the
equipment upon scheduling a service call or he can make arrangements for us to pick
up the Equipment between our service hours: Monday-Friday 8:30AM-3:30PM.

If I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Respectfully,

    *** ********
