So first and foremost , I had to have an extended stay. I booked a new room 11/10/2023 for a king suite. Upon checking in and going into my room. It wasn’t cleaned since the last person to be assigned that room. Bottles everywhere bed unmade. Like housekeeping just didn’t do their job. I go down to speak about it . I was given a double queen bed. The room stunk. The one bed had dead bug guts all over it. Old vape boxes, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned. When I complained about the room, the front desk clerk was too busy eating to really speak and was entertaining different dudes in the front. She simply stated she could see about a refund . I asked her how does a room just not get cleaned ? She took another bite and said I apologize but there’s nothing I can do. Idk if she was high , or what. But the night prior to re booking a room. I walked out of my room and when I walked back up to my floor I noticed my room door was wide open. I call down and it’s the same lady. She rushes me off the phone by saying “no one was in your room thank you bye”. I only needed to stay because I was moving into a new home and my old lease was already up. Drug addicts in the rooms. Front desk workers just here to get a pay check no real help. How do you have dead bugs smushed on a bed . Used shampoo in unoccupied rooms. Do better by hiring better workers, and cleaners. There is a certain demographic they hire to pay less and it’s actually disgusting type of business practice. Next step is the health department because sons they see the front desk clerk they will understand what the rooms probably look like. Not to mention the clerks children running around the hotel . Anything could happen why let them roam free . Making noises and causing disturbances. This needs to be resolved. Hire people who want to work and understand the industry they are in.

We had booked a two night stay at the Hammock Inn and Suites from May 27-29. The reservation was for a room that had a king sized bed with a pull-out sofa. Since we had 3 travelers we relied on being able to use the sofa. When we walked in, the room smelled like urine, was filthy with stains on the bed, floor, bed sheets, curtains and furniture. The pull-out sofa was broken so we were unable to use it. When I went down to complain about the issues stated above, the employee stated that there was no one working that could help me so I was out of luck. I asked about a full refund and she said, “only the manager can give refunds and he won’t come in to deal with issues unless there is a fire or flood.” They also couldn’t move us to another room because the hotel was full. I wanted to leave and find another hotel but didn’t because I didn’t want to spend even more money at another place without knowing if they were going to refund us. I had to go to a store and buy cleaning products and sheets to put on the bed since the hotel had no staff to clean our room. The next morning we spoke to another employee who refunded our second night. However, since we didn’t get what I paid for (second bed, clean sheets, etc), I feel that they should have refunded the first night as well (152.10). This business is misleading customers by the pictures they post on their website, and their customer service is awful. The management should be investigated. When leaving, I saw signs at the employee desk threatening to fire their employees if they told customers their “business” and if they called the manager to come in. I would hate to see more people get scammed out of their money!
