CRS was hired by a neighbor to provide services on July 6, 2023. I arrived home from work to find two trucks parked in my grass, despite a "no parking" sign. The company said my neighbor gave them permission to park in my yard, which they know they're not allowed to do. I told one of the CRS employees that they needed to move their vehicles from our yard and park in their client's driveway. The employee agreed to do so and began to turn the rather large truck around on the spot in our grass, instead of doing the logical thing and driving down the road. In the process, he backed into a very large axe target we have in our yard, tipping it far enough that when he realized he couldn't make the turn and ultimately had to drive down the road anyway, the target landed back on the ground, but with one of the legs bent out of position. The target is too heavy for any less than two people to move by hand, so the truck pushed it very hard for it to move at all. With the bottom leg now bent out of position, the boards are out of place and the back plywood is bowed and damaged. Since we can't bend it back into place and will need to have a new one built, it's a loss. The driver then drove away and turned around in the client's driveway, as they should have done all along. He then got out of the truck and went about his business without moving the other truck from the yard. He never apologized or looked at the target. I called the number on the truck and a girl in the CRS office said one of the owners, CJ, was on scene and would come talk to me. He was very nice and apologetic, but left before sharing his insurance information. When I called July 7 to get the info, CJ was extremely rude and denied the incident even happened, despite witnesses and clear damage. He said I'd have to go through the police, because he didn't care. It's disappointing he changed his tune overnight. I'm working with state police on this, because I tried to resolve it professionally. I might sue them.
