    Worst and most dangerous place to have car work done
    On 7/26/22, I arrived at the Low-Cost Exhaust and the technician said a new rear converter was needed on the back because the old one had multiple holes in it. The labor and converter were supposed to be $350 with taxes included. When the work was completed the price was hiked up to $402.80 without any explanation. Even though I was disgusted about what unfolded, I paid the extra cost and left. As I was driving, I noticed that the car was running worse than before. I turned around and immediately went back to the location for an explanation.
    I asked the employee, David Weist, if he could show me where the holes were on the old converter. Well to my surprise, there weren’t any holes in the converter and I informed Weist that I wanted to have a family member take a look at the old converter. Weist handed me the part and walked to the back of the shop where the technician (that worked on the car) was located.
    Well, the technician must have told Weist that nothing was initially wrong with the converter, because Weist came running out of the shop while trying to pull a gun out of the holster located in the front waistband of his pants. Weist was unable to pull the gun out of the leather holster and he punched out the passenger mirror.
    Had to call the police.
    I’m filing this report to want others. This place is not safe and it’s a scam.
