    4/13/2023 Attempted to pay for my service (pedicure) with a gift card I received for my birthday in November of 2021. The owner told me gift cards expire after 1 year. It is not stated in writing anywhere. She confiscated the gift card and I paid the $65 on my debit card.

    Please let me provide you with a more accurate timeline as to what actually transpired on April 13th 2023.


    -1:00 pm 4/13/2023 appointment

    -2:00pm 4/13/2023 the appointment ended 2pm and she was happy with the service as I have not received any complaints about it.

    -2:00pm 4/13/2023 She attempted to pay for the $65 service with a gift card. Unfortunately, the staff didnt understand that the card was still valid but had started a charge of $65 for the service on her debit card.

    -3:20pm 4/13/2023 I was informed about the problem and promptly VOIDED the charge (see attached documentation of the voided charge with the date and time stamp and her name) The documented void time is 3:30 pm 4/13/2023

    -4:07pm 4/14/2023 (the next day)  I called *********************** and spoke to her at length that it was a mistake and that I had voided the charge of $65 the day earlier. I apologized several times and said we never had this happen before and I was very sorry for the mix up. I spoke to her for 3 minutes and 32 seconds (see attached phone call documentation of this phone call). I also informed her that if for ANY reason the charge went through to please contact me and I will make it right. Again, I have a screen shot of the of VOIDED transaction to prove this is correct along with the phone call apologizing and informing her that there was no charge on the card.

    *********************** NEVER called to tell me anything different or there was any outstanding issue.

    We have over 277 ****** reviews, with a 4.8 rating thanks to the wonderful staff and service we provide. ***** and her friend both left 1 star reviews that are also lacking in context and truth. They should be ashamed of themselves.

    If she wants to take legal action for a nonexistent charge (again, see attached proof it was voided) and an apology (again, see attached proof that I called her, and she NEVER called me back) I will let my attorney handle this and will consider this harassment of my staff and our business.

    While I respect the work that the BBB does for the consumer and businesses it can also be used by customers that misrepresent the truth of a given situation.
