I contracted with a local exterminator service, Guardian Pest Control, several years ago for an annual service plan at two (2) rental properties and my primary residence. That business was apparently sold to Lethal Pest Services. I continued the service for the properties, paying quarterly for each property. This summer, a sizable hornet's nest was reported at a rental property. Part of the service plan includes treatment for nests. I contacted Lethal - they claim they treated the nest but my tenant still reported an active nest and was in fact, stung. I called two more times over several weeks between July and August. They claimed to visit the property but the problem was not remedied. The nest remained extremely active and dangerous for my tenants. Given my extreme dissatisfaction, I finally called to cancel the service at ALL three (3) properties on 8/16 and seek a refund for the most recent payment of $100.23 for the specific property with the active nest. Incidentally, I called another service that was able to take care of the nest in just one day. Today (8/29), I received notice that my credit card was charged the quarterly fee for the other two properties, which were canceled. The company claims there was treatment done on the 15th, and I canceled on the 16th (how convenient). I am seeking a refund for these two quarterly payments for service that I have no proof happened, other than a charge on my credit card. I also want other customers to know their service is absolutely worthless.
