    My daughter participated in a 2 week study abroad program with this company in April 2023 (my elder daughter did the same trip in April 2018). The trip cost approximately $4,500. Part of the cost was a $75 "Reduced Refundable Damage Deposit." When we did not receive this $75 deposit from the company by late May of 2023, I contacted the company via email to inquire. I was told via email by an employee named ***** that the refunds are sent out in August. When August came and went and we still had not received anything, I contacted them again via email and phone (leaving a voicemail) and received no response. After trying several more times by phone and by email with no luck, ***** finally emailed me back on Nov. 6 and told me it would be looked into and someone would get back to me as soon as possible. Again not hearing back from anyone, I emailed on Nov. 19 but have received no response, and I called and left another phone message on Dec. 7. It is now quote apparent to me that they have no intention of refunding this money. I contacted another parent of a student on the trip, and she has also not received her $75 back. (We also did not receive the refund in 2018 when my elder child took the trip, but I did not notice it until a year later so I thought it was too late to do anything about it.) I think this is likely a chronic issue with this company. ( I listed $75 below as the amount I paid them because that is what they owe me. I am not looking for a refund for the trip (which was around $4,500). The trip was fine. I would just like them to honor the $75 refundable deposit.
