    Signature Paving & Construction was commissioned to repave my aging driveway. The work was unsupervised and took less than a half a day to complete. Early the next morning the "salesman" came by to collect payment even though I did not have sufficient time to evaluate work quality. He insisted I write a check to one "***** ******" for the amount of the job, and not remit payment to the business. Needless to say I should not have paid at that point as I had not had time to evaluate the results of the work. When I did closely inspect the work, it became obvious that there is a slope toward the garage, which, in a significant rain, would have water running toward my garage. I have done my best to photograph the slope toward the house. ***** had told me that his crew would "grind" the old asphalt out, so the driveway would slope toward the street. The crew did not use a grinding machine at all and merely repaved over the old asphalt. This step that was skipped is why the driveway now slopes right toward the garage door. They chipped out an area in front of the garage door, but that is all.There are also other issues, but obviously, the potential flow of water toward my house and garage is unacceptable.I have emailed and telephoned Signature to no avail. I don't believe they have an office staff as I receive no response and the phone goes right to voicemail.I am uploading a photo to show where slope toward garage begins and the degree to which it will be a problem. The ** in the pic is facing the garage door.Thank you.
