I used Hometech Renovations’ kitchen reface company, Let's Face It, for a kitchen remodel. Their employees provided incorrect, misleading, insufficient and conflicting information during numerous interactions prior to and during the work being performed. Their work resulted in numerous issues to be addressed and corrected and some were not performed to completion. Their management did not acknowledge the inconveniences and confusion caused by work errors and miscommunications nor did they express any remorse. The cabinet door hinges they installed perform in an inferior manner compared to those at home improvement stores. The owner was not familiar with the hinges and could not confirm if they were what was supposed to be provided. When issues and shortcomings were addressed with the owner, he did not offer a refund of payments for materials, work or professionalism that was not provided, nor did he express any remorse.

I scheduled the refacing in April and told the earliest date was after Thanksgiving in November. I was assured it would take a week. It took 3 months. I was told that the sales people never know what is going on. You would think they would coordinate, but they didn't. After a week of work, I asked about the person coming in to install tile. He told me he had no idea and that I needed to call and coordinate the work. What!? The tile person was not helpful regarding resources for the tile and when he came complained about the type of tile chosen. He gave no direction and was late on everything. The workers had no regard for my job as they would sometimes tell me at 8:30 or 9 am that they weren't coming that day. Often they were gone by noon. I tried to obtain definitive finish times and then told about a month after the start of the job that they didn't order my moldings. It was a poorly professional job from the beginning. The refacing was nice. The cabinet replaced was not. He replaced them wrong and told me they were crooked to begin with. I found out that he mixed up the cabinets and placed the wrong ones in the wrong place. would like a company that knows what they are doing. The tile was not flush and my 'crooked wall' was blamed when he should have removed the damaged drywall that occurred when the initial tile was removed. They also did not insulate my outside wall as I was assured many times they would. My kitchen was an icebox compared to the rest of the house. This company does not honor agreements and blames the customer and the home for their poor work.
