      Brokered health insurance for the company I work for. Since early July, biweekly contributions to health plan have been deducted from my paycheck. TAC has told me that any health care coverage from July 1st to present will be covered retroactively. I find out today that there is no such health plan. I have a major health-sustaining medication that I have not been able to fill since this new health insurance plan took effect. Every other employee at this office is in a similar situation. Our HR is unable to help as TAC Benefit Group is the one responsible.

      I will gladly supply any documentation you may need if I am informed of what you need.

      My name is Andréa B***** and I worked with *** ********’s employer to place coverage this year, effective August 1st, 2022. 

      Prior to August of 2022, the employer, *** ****** ****, had insurance with ****** ********** under another medical broker, of whom I do not know.  That prior medical plan ran from 8/1/2021 through 7/31/2022. 

       

      As of August 1st, TAC Benefits Group was signed on as the Broker Of Record.  We began marketing efforts as we normally do for any new client.  Following marketing the medical plan, we decided to remain with coverage with ****** **********. We renewed ****** ********** for an effective date of 8/1/2022.  While we added benefits to the medical pan, we made NO changes to the prescription plan.  ****** ********** accepted the submission.  This process took longer than expected due to the installation of a new plan.

       

      Mr. Stefanic has had continuous coverage with ****** ********** while under the new plan, placed by TAC Benefits Group, effective 8/1/2022.  I confirmed with the HR Director at *** ****** ****.  *** ******** has had no break in coverage ever.  He was effective on the prior coverage and is effective now. 

       

      I will reach out to ****** ********** to make sure his prescription coverage is in effect and then advise the employer of the outcome.  Please feel free to reach me if anything further is needed.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The new health plan with ************ did not become effective until 8/23/2002 (this is the date we got the new plan information).   The new prescription plan did not become effective until 8/25/2022.  No medications were filled from 8/1/2022 to 8/24/2022.  Essentially, I had no coverage from 8/1/2022 until 8/25/2022.
