  American Paving repaved my driveway on Oct 25 to Oct 27, 2023, for a reduced price of $4,500 (original price quoted was $5,500). They only dug up a lower portion of my driveway, put down a small amount of stone, and then resurfaced over my old driveway. This left many low spots & didn't drain properly. They then "patched" the low spots & put a groove in my driveway to drain better. ****** the owner told me on 10/27/2023 (and I have in writing), that if I'm not satisfied with the results, he would come back & redo the whole lower half of the driveway. I was not satisfied, so I starting calling on 10/31/23 to get schedule to fix. Originally they said they would come back in 2 weeks to redo. They never answered my calls to schedule a date. I called though November 2023 and then stopped calling since I figured they shut down for the winter. Then in April 2024 I starting calling again to schedule. Most times the calls went unanswered. When I did reach ******, he scheduled to come out on several dates, 4/27, 5/20, 6/13, 6/26/2024, but no one showed or called to reschedule. I have been calling almost every week through July 2024, with no answer or return of text messages. I've been contacting both the company phone number *************), ******** cell phone *************), as well as messages on their website (**************************************). Please help me resolve fixing my driveway. Thank You, ********************* *************).

  I hired American Paving 3 weeks ago to extend my driveway and then seal everything. Extension of the driveway was done but the seal coating has yet to be completed. I have been told numerous times by the owner via a simple text that he will come on x day. As I wait around for him he does not show up nor does he pick up his phone or respond to texts. Later in the evening he will either not follow up or follow up with a simple text with another date and time. So far this has happened a total of FOUR times. I am still waiting for the work to be completed.

  On 8/26/2022 I paid American Paving a check in the amount of $4300 in exchange for the following agreed upon services: • Prepare existing driveway area and subsurface for new paved driveway • Install a new level topcoat driveway free from defects The next day, 8/27/2022, I called *************************** to let him know the installed driveway surface was not level. The surface had ¾” to 1” raised ridges created from the roller and poor installation. ****** agreed to fix the problem, they have not return to fix. I called again in September 2022, ****** from American Paving said “Our work is guaranteed, we will fix the issue” , they have not return to fix. On December 19, 2022 and March 28, 2023 I emailed and sent pictures to American Paving to notify them that the surface is heaving in several location. I received no response. April and May 2023, I have had several phone calls *********************, he agrees to fix the issues but does not follow-up with action Current issues to be resolved: • Driveway surface is heaving • Topcoat asphalt material was not used, the surface is porous and not smooth. Topcoat asphalt should contain predominately 3/8” aggregate, the material used is predominantly 1/2” aggregate and greater • Surface is spalling and material is failing • Surface has raised ridges and is not level I am seeking resolution which could be one of the following: • Refund $4300 because the agreed upon services not adequately rendered • Remove and replace the driveway with quality topcoat material and install using industry best practices • American Paving come to *** ********, review the issues with me, propose and deliver a solution that is mutually agreeable
