    We rented cabin 18 at Drummer Boy campground in **********, **. Labor Day weekend Friday 8/30 - Monday 9/2. The cost was $222/night, $666 total. When we arrived we found the cabin had been minimally cleaned & all corners were covered in ************* We cleaned it ourselves as the campground was full & cleaning services not available. Later we discovered thick mold on shower *********** head. But it was after we had used water. ******** both ended up getting sick. We are not prone to sickness. We also cleaned these items as it was evening & no cleaning services available. An obvious health issue. We notified cleaning staff upon departure about these issues. We rented a cabin with multiple beds specifically because we needed multiple beds. There was a Queen bed for my wife. But she needs the space for her and support dog. There was 2 bunk beds which I intended to use. But found beds to be nearly impossible to sleep on. They were not beds but more like hard seat cushions. Got no sleep the first night due to discomfort of beds. Ended up driving home to get an air mattress. When renting a room or home youre looking for a clean safe environment and place to wash, eat & sleep. We got none of these necessities at this cabin. It was a health hazard as well as not suitable for sleep. We have called resort twice & filed same complaint on their website and have received no response after a few weeks of trying to resolve. The reservation was made through a 3rd party but the issues are the problem of the campground itself. We would like our money back especially since our health was at risk. That seems reasonable considering.

    I received contacts from the business but the matter is still not resolved. After multiple attempts to contact them it is still unresolved but still trying to contact. It has been 2 months of futility so far.
