Techs got lost coming to property and owner accused me of giving incorrect address while charging me the additional travel time. Techs installed kitchen faucet backwards and was charged the time to take off and install correctly when I pointed out mistake. Owner said techs are not familiar with hardware and that most business do not install owner supplies hardware (this was a Moen brand from Lowes). Techs did not recheck a toilet base leak that I reported (requested the wax ring be replaced when I booked the service) after tightening a tank bolt and saying problem was fixed. Had to pay another service call with travel time for a second day of repair. The second tech also padded their time by about 30 minutes and I was charged for a helper to carry a bag in at the start of the job and hand two paper towels. When I brought my issues up with owner when the bill was double the anticipated amount I was told I am the type to always complain and was insulted but I believe time in job was inflated and they were not willing to work with me even a little bit on the bill (told gas prices are high but that is not my concern as a customer - that is for the business to worry about. They say they are master plumbers that do it right the first time but that is not what I experienced. I will never do business with them again.

SECRETARY: I am sorry you feel this way. The address is 1007 and I had 107 wrote down. Whether you didn't say it correctly or I didn't hear it correctly, there was a miscommunication and I apologized for this. This usually doesn't happen. Also, when you called you did not request the wax ring to be replaced, you said water is laying around the base of the toilet. Also, you had called me to complain about the hours that where on the job invoice you signed, before the service tech even left your driveway and I did not even have a chance to type up an invoice. SERVICE TECH: I am sorry to hear your frustrations but will admit that we did put the two-handle kitchen faucet on backwards, due to the lack of distinction between the hot and cold sides on each handle and/or the hot/cold water connections. We are glad you caught this while you were standing over top of me the entire time we were there. As far as the toilet leak goes, the service call ticket said water laying around the base of the toilet. We found the tank to bowl bolts where leaking and where very loose. When asked who was here before us and replaced the fill valve & flush valve assembly, you stated that you replaced them yourself. We tightened down the tank to bowl bolts and the water stop leaking. SERVICE TECH: We arrived and found some water laying around the base of the toilet. We checked the tank to bowl bolts again and they were not leaking. You requested that we pull the toilet and inspect the wax ring. We pulled the toilet and found the wax ring was not in the best of shape. The helper went to the truck to get another wax ring while I cleaned the old wax ring off of the toilet bowl and floor closet flange. We reset the toilet and flushed the toilet several times. The helper cleaned up the tools and wiped down the floor around the toilet, while I filled out the job invoice that you signed, with the hours that you were being billed. This is why I billed a 1/2 hour for the laborer at a reduced cost.

It would have been helpful to communicate more information in advance, such as being charged for travel time or for 2 techs. I still feel the time in the job cost was inflated and the owner was not interested in hearing any concerns I expressed and instead felt talking down to me was appropriate. You can see the accusatory tone put back on me as a customer when the tech says in their reply that I stood over them the entire time during the job but I was working on my laptop in the kitchen as this is the space I have to work with in my home. The business had time to reply to this review but not adjust the bill even a little bit and took two days. I stand by my concerns and negative review and have shared my feedback on other platforms. The business doesn’t care since they’ve already been paid in full for a job that was not completed the first time.
