We hired ****** to help us with dog training. We paid $955 through Venmo to cover $175 for the initial consult and then a package of 6 sessions at $130 each. Each session is $140 if not bought as a package. ****** came to the consult as scheduled. She came to the first session after rescheduling three times due to health issues that came up for her, which delayed our training by several weeks. We scheduled a second session and she texted the day of to reschedule due to her health issues (she said she needed to go to the hospital for fluids). We explained that we understood her health needed to come first, but that we wanted to train our puppy expediently and not miss our window to do so effectively. We asked her to return $640 - that is the $955 originally paid less $175 for the consult and $140 for the first session (not $130 since we are not completing the package). She texted back on 8/25 that she would have postponed her hospital visit if we had told her we couldn't reschedule and said she needed to "think for a couple of days and respond." She has not responded to my texts since then. We are seeking a partial refund of $640.

Prepaid for services that were misrepresented. Would like a partial refund for services not rendered. Business owner not amicable to a peaceful resolution and refuses a partial refund for services not rendered.

Last February 2022, ********************* came to my house for a dog training consultation, which she was paid $155.00 for. After evaluating my dog and her needs, she was hired to work with my dog. I paid her $750 for her training package which includes 6 hours of training sessions over a course of time. To this date, February 2023, she has seen my dog for training sessions on 3 occasions, 2 of which my dog sat in the car while we talked. Each of these 3 sessions lasted 30 minutes so we are 1 1/2 hours into training but she only had her out of the car once. I have called repeatedly with no replies, I have texted repeatedly with no replies, I finally got an e-mail response after a month and a half of repeated tries to reach her to resume training (early January 2023). She asked for dates that I was available for training in January 2023. After spending the time to send her available January 2023 dates and e-mailing them to her, she replied on Jan 10 to say that she was working on her January schedule that day and would get back to me. It is now February 4th and again I have not heard back from her to schedule more training sessions. I have called again and I have e-mailed her again and nothing. At this point, I am out $ 905.00 and she has hardly worked with my dog. I seem to have been ghosted. All I am asking for is a refund of 1/2 of my training session money, $375.00. I think this is more than fair considering she has not helped my dog at all. We have just talked... I have been patient, I have been kind and now it is time to move on and find a trainer that really does want to help dogs. Unfortunately, this was the first time that I ever had to hire a dog trainer and I am so disgusted and disheartened by this whole experience.
