      I had a patio built by Chambers in (2) phases (in spring 2021 and this past spring 2022).Well-known local patio contractor and military veteran in the Glenmoore PA area with a good reputation. Part of his pitch (at the time of sale and often repeated ongoing) was that if we were to have any problems, he would return to make corrections... "for as long as he lived". I trusted him and selected him primarily for this reason. We ran into some difficulties during the 2021 phase 1 build, which he promptly addressed. We liked the service and the patio so much that we had it expanded via a phase 2 in spring 2022. I would have recommended him to anyone. Several weeks after completion of phase 2 (spring/summer 2022), one section (about 12x12 feet) settled more than anticipated, causing excessive puddling when it rains. I contacted Chambers, who came out to take a look. He was concerned there would be more settling, so he asked to return in the fall 2022 (or perhaps early 2023) to make the repair. I trusted him and agreed. I contacted him a few times in the fall (2022). He confirmed that he was quite aware that the repair was outstanding, but I couldn't get him scheduled before the winter started. Slight concern, but I trusted him. Since winter was upon us, I needed to wait until the Spring. I just texted him in January 2023 (see detailed text messages attached)... to get on his early Spring schedule. He told me (in a text response) that he sold the company this past fall 2022 (at approximately the same time I was trying to get him scheduled!)... and that there was nothing he could do regarding the repair... that he couldn't hold up his "for life" agreement because he had sold the company (including his staff and equipment). Since this text message conversation, he now does not respond. He has completely ghosted me. Makes no sense to me. So much for a reputation. I now would not recommend him to anyone. Thank you.
