    I took my single bevel serated hunting knife to country knives for it to be sharpened. The employee taking it in assured me that they had sharpened this kind of knife before. When I picked the knife up and unwrapped it to find that the shop had ground down the other side of the knife and removed the seration making it a double bevel knife. After repeated attempts with owner to remedy the issue. He suggested I send the knife to manufacturer to see if they could fix it. I did send it to the manufacturer "Buck" and they stated that they have never seen a "professional"knife shop destroy a knife in this manner. They also told me you should never grind a seration for any reason. They were unable to replace the blade for me due to the knifes rarity. I have multiple emails with the owner in which he stayed he flat out didn't care. I am looking for the knife to be replaced. He won't be able to replace the memories I had with the knife that my late father gave me on a hunting trip but he should replace the knife for the value. Estimated value from comps is $349.99. I also have all of my email correspondence with the owmer and manufacturer if needed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
