    Business Response

    Date: 12/18/2024

We acknowledge your BBB complaint and understand the concerns. Our expansion into **** aimed to address the shortage of well drillers and offer more affordable services. Unfortunately, due to incorrect guidance during our initial licensing process, compliance issues arose. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

We have ceased operations in ****. We have told the customer that any further inquiries need to be addressed to the bonding company handling the claim.

Below is my last correspondence with them.

I am writing to address your ongoing communications concerning your well issues. I understand your frustration and sympathize with the challenges youre facing. However, as you have already filed a claim against our bond, this matter is now under the jurisdiction of the bonding company. They are responsible for investigating and resolving your concerns, and any further inquiries should be directed to them.

As we discussed during our recent phone conversation, we completed a report for your well. Unfortunately, due to an internal error, the report was not submitted properly despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue. We entered the Ohio market to provide residents with additional options but encountered unforeseen challenges. For that, we apologize. We take pride in our work and customer service; however, we have decided not to renew our license and will no longer be operating in *****

Your repeated communications, including joining local groups to disparage our company, filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB), and harassing us via phone and messaging, are unproductive and may be considered harassment. I must kindly but firmly request that you cease all further direct contact with us. Any continued harassment will leave us no choice but to seek legal counsel to protect our rights and reputation. I will be forwarding this correspondence to the Department of Health and the BBB for their records.

We have fulfilled our obligations, and the bonding company is in place to address your concerns. Please allow them to complete their process

    Customer Answer

    Date: 12/19/2024

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.

Because there are multiple victims of this business who are seeking relief from the bond, there will not be enough money to make us all whole.

The attached invoices confirm that we paid this business ****** and we have no water. Some of the line items on the bids are fraudulent. The well was never dug to the depth we paid an additional ***** for. We paid cash for services that were never even performed.

The water lines are laying on top of the ground as pictured, The line item billed us for trenching and burying the line. This is another fraudulent charge as this item was not completed.

This is not acceptable as the bond money will be taken by a victim who filed before us in ***************. This is not in any way a resolution.

We have a bid for a new company who are experts but L&M has left us financially devastated and unable to start over because the took our money without even completing their own contract as pictured,

Since they refuse to come and correct the egregious mistakes, and there is not enough money in the bond to cover all of their victims, we seek our money back in full so that we can at least start over.

    Regards,

    ******* *** *******
