I ordered this gun in 2023 new. I have had nothing but issues with this gun since Ive had it. This is the 3rd time sending this firearm back to company for repair. The front sight has come off twice now and has had multiple jamming issues since purchase. I have never had to take a firearms back from repair and this is the 3rd time I have to do so. This is wasting my time as its fed ex returns. I am extremely concerned about my safety as this firearm fails to go back into battery after firing. I have shot over a hundred guns and this one is junk. Budsgun shop order *******Business Response

I purchased a set of upgraded sights for my pistol. The webpage said it would fit. I took the pistol and sights to my local gunsmith to have them professionally installed. The front sight does not fit. I contacted Kahr, and they told me the set was only for pistols made in Israel (mine is USA made). Subsequently, after I complained about the issue, Kahr changed the webpage, and after the fact is using that as the excuse that I ordered the wrong part. Nowhere on the original webpage did it mention the sights only fit Israel made pistols. I uploaded a picture of my receipt showing only them saying the sights are made in Israel. You can see it is different from the current webpage. I paid my local gunsmith $100 to try to install the sights, and now I must have the original sights re-installed. I believe Kahr should: 1) Replace the incorrect front sight with the correct part at no additional charge. I will send the incorrect part back to them at my own expense. 2) Reimburse me for the gunsmithing fees. 3) Prominently display on their website a notice and acknowledgement that Kahr has posted incorrect and incomplete information regarding some their products for sale, and advising potential customers the verify fit and suitability before making a purchase.Business Response

Dear *** *******:
Upon receipt of your letter we reviewed our customer service documentation which included prior correspondence with the complainant. We found that the customer ordered the wrong part, although the web page clearly stated "Fits only Israel made ****** *****" and he was in possession of a ****** ***** made in USA. He voiced concern to us about the web page but did not call us in advance to determine if he was ordering the right part. Nor did he call us before having a gunsmith try to fit the sights on the gun which clearly were not made for that gun. He failed to return the sights when we requested him to do so. Additionally, had he called us at any of these times, his problems could have been avoided or alleviated. We cannot use or resell the incorrectly purchased sights. Our company has an excellent reputation for quality products and customer service. As a customer service gesture, we would be again willing to send the customer an RMA, have him return the sights and send him a refund of 100% of his item purchase price which $234. With the prompt return of the sights and issuance of a refund of 100% of the item purchase price, we would consider this matter closed and resolved without further recourse to the complainant.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:The original webpage, from which I placed my order, DID NOT say 'Only for Israel made'.
The original webpage was ALTERED AFTER I made my complaint to the company about their incorrect and misleading information.

Additionally:
Although the Company states they offered RMA and refund, and I did request such on June 2, 2023, they never authorized, nor issued, RMA.
All I want is the correct parts.

Below please find the email chain between myself and Kahr. I never received any RMA number. I never received any further communication from Kahr beyond this point.
Perhaps this will help you (BBB) understand my frustration and why I reject Kahr's statements regarding this matter,
Please ask Kahr to provide proof they issued RMA. They cannot because they never did, nor did they offer to issue RMA, even though you can clearly read my request they do so (06/02/2023 10:26AM).
I always believed the BBB was supposed to help the consumer when big companies try to take advantage of them?

******,
No, it was not. I reviewed the page carefully several times on
several different occasions before making the purchase.
It never said it was not for **** *** or USA
made, either.
Why can you not admit you are wrong, do the right thing, and either
exchange the incorrect front sight for the correct one, or issue
RMA and refund?
Is Kahr really that sort of company? Have I mistakenly believed you
to be people of honor and integrity?

Hello,
No, we never made a false
statement. We never said the sight were for the US ****** ***** or
model *** and as I stated before and after the change this
disclaimer has always been on the page.

Hello,
The mark *** ****** ***** are
only made for the US models, the Israeli ****** ***** are the mark
1 and 7 that were being produce until roughly 2005. Below you will
see a snap shot of the description where it states that it fits the
Israeli style only. I will follow up to see if I can get the
approval for the returning shipping label and full refund with my
supervisor, again this is not a
guarantee.

Joshua,
Where on the website does it state for Israel made Mark ***?
As far as I see, it only states the sights are made in Israel. You
people really need to do a better job of providing information on
your website. This was also the case with the sights I ordered from
you for my ******, i.e. that your information is misleading and
incorrect. I did notice that after I complained about the info,
your made the correction on the webpage. I would suggest you do the
same for the **** *** sights.
Please issue RMA reference number, and I will send them back. I
presume I will receive a full refund?
Furthemore, let me ask you this; is there a set of adjustable fiber
optic sights that actually fit my **** ***?
Regards

Hello,
The reason why the sights are
too small is you order the sight made for the older Israeli desert
eagle. As for the refund the wrong sight were order and you will be
responsible for mailing them back to the address
below.

Subject: Order #*****
I purchased a set of fiber optic sights for my **** *** on this
order.
I took the sights and the pistol to my local gunsmith to have the
sights professionally installed.
Today, I spoke with him, and was told the sights (specifically the
front sight) do not fit, because the sight base is too small for
the dovetail.
I cannot believe a $250 set of sights that you people sell
specifically for the Mark *** does not fit.
Now I am out $150 for the gunsmith service.
I should have known better after the fiasco with the sights you
sold me for my ******.
I am hereby requesting RMA and refund for the sights.
