    Repairs from sub par work are still occurring. *********************** with Greencastle Property Maintenance renovated our bathroom in spring 2021. Some of the work was less professional than I would have expected, but we gave ***** another chance and asked him to help finish our basement in the fall of 2021. My husband had already did demolition, insulated, studded and dry walled the basement. ***** was to level the floor, lay flooring, build a barn door, an half wall with shelves, and paint. It took ***** quite some time to commit to a start date. Again, we gave him the benefit of the doubt. When ***** did start my husband had even taken time off of work to help him with the project. Once ***** did start and we pointed out that the shelving unit was crooked (shelves got progressively smaller), the floor was uneven, etc., ***** started not showing up to work on the basement. We would have to beg him for an explanation. This happened several times until he took his belongings and never came back to our house, abandoning the project and pocketing $750 we had given him to build a barn door we never received. My husband finished up what he could. The floor remains uneven, and we had to spend more money to build our own barn door. We have also had to replace the flooring in the bathroom that was not laid correctly, re do plumbing that was not done correctly, and we are also having an issue with the vent/fan that was installed in the bathroom. We have not heard from ***** or received the money and supplies he said he would return to us - the barn door supplies he spent $750 on plus and additional $250 he agreed to refund. We want our $1000 back, and for it to be known *********************** is a dishonest conman.
