    I took my cell phone to get repaired at this location. The lady working told me I had to pay half of the amount so they could order proper parts. I paid $113.95 on October 12 2023. October 24 2023, I took my cell phone in to get repairs. I dropped it off at 11am and got a call at 345 pm where they stated they did not order the correct part. I went to pick up my phone and they told me they would re order it and I could bring it in. I had to take off work this day so I could take my phone to them because their hours do not work with my schedule. A few weeks later I called them and explained that I simply don’t have time and can’t call off again to take my phone in and I would just like a refund on the amount I paid. The same lady i originally spoke with said she will contact her manager and have her call me back. 3 days passed and I did not get a call so i called in and asked for the refund again. The manager informed me she would process the full refund and it should process within the next few days. I looked in my bank account to find that i was only refunded $83.95 missing 30 from my refund. I called for an explanation and they told me it was for a “service fee” that i was NEVER made aware of. She informed me the service fee was to get into the phone and cover the cost of shipping. I did not sign any paperwork stating that there would be a service fee, and the manager never stated there would be a service fee and told me I would get refunded the full amount. The other lady speaking with me was extremely rude and disrespectful when i questioned her about this. I was also confused how i should lose 30 dollars for a mistake that happened on their part. I lost a days worth of work and 30. They are telling me k will not be getting that 30 dollars back, which to me seems wrong. I was NEVER made aware of this and didn’t sign anything at all through this entire process. They are open saturdays but I was told i can’t go bc the employee doesn’t know how to fix it.

    What the business committed to providing: The business committed to repairing the charging port in a Nintendo switch I dropped off in 2 weeks time.
    Nature of the dispute: After the first 2 weeks, we called the business because we had not heard anything and the technician let us know that he had been out sick so he had not had time to repair the device. We understood the issue and he said he would get it done in another 2 weeks. We called the place again on 06/14/2023 because we had not heard anything for another 2 weeks and got a message on their machine saying that they were closed until the 21st something they had not informed us of. We then called on the 21st and asked if our machine was repaired yet and we were told that the technician had quit and that they would need to check to see if our machine had been repaired and that they would let us know. We called them again on 06/23/2023 having not heard anything and they said that there was a fixed switch and a not fixed switch and that they would call us right back to let us know if ours was the fixed one to pick up. We did not receive another call on this day and called again the next day to inquire having not heard anything. They said our switch had not been repaired and at this point we just wanted our property back and asked if we could come pick it up. They said yes but that it was open and we said we were fine with that we just wanted it back at this point. I then immediately drove over there to pick it up and the doors had been locked and they were no longer answering my calls. I have not been able to get ahold of them since.
