    Purchased washer at Cabin Hill approx 3yrs ago. Issued started with the gear clutch 4mths ago, they replaced it. They have been out 2 more times. They advised us they had to wait for the warranty ** to **me back & give them permission to get the parts and to fix it. They finally came on 12/28 to fix it and it makes a worse sound than it did before they came. In the period of time between getting permission and today they would never return our phone calls, advise us of what the warranty ** stated, etc. they admit to screening their calls and wont pick up to help us.

    Cabin Hill Maytag has a long history with these customers.  The *********************** that pertain to this complaint are two washing machines.  Over the lengthy course of working with them and their appliance purchasing and repairs they have used yelling and profanity in a derogatory fashion with the staff here.  The former is in no short supply, it is my belief made apparent through dealing with these customers that they just want to call the store an obtuse amount of times and yell at us about the state of affairs.  They claim we never pick up the phone but I have personally spoke with this couple at least ten times and my staff much more.  It escalated to the point where they were asked to not call back and we would call them when the information they were seeking was obtained by us.  A lot of moving pieces. Zero patience.  The customer was calling the store with a blocked number because they were under the assumption that we were not working hard enough for them.  We were doing all that we could with the options at our disposal.  Processes take time.  The final escalation was the customer coming into the store where he was refunded the money he spent on the two washing machines and the money he spent on the extended warranty.  The check was written for ******** dollars. Check # ******  The customer was asked to never come back after the profane behavior.  We did not take possession of the appliances.  We did not wish for this outcome.  We do not wish for continued contact from this customer.
