This project was to be finished before Thanksgiving, November 2024. After many excuses and reasons ***** finally showed up do do the porch roof in December. I got home from work and he had already started the work. After he was finished I walked outside to discuss the work done. After looking at everything I expressed it wasn't cemented in the ground and that it would break away from the home. To which I was right and it has. Along with completely destroying my porch (by twisting it) He informed me that he would have needed a permit to do so and he couldn't do that. I complained that the roof panels did not have a two foot overhang that we had discussed multiple times Which is when he told me he could not get that in materials. That he decided to switch it to a gutter on the main side. I also showed him the roof was not straight with the porch it's self on the far left side. He told me he fired all his employees and would come back to fix it. I waited a few weeks and contacted him. Asking him when he was going to come back out and make it right, and now I am getting no answer and being ignored. He has recieved all the payments asked and is refusing to return.

      to whom it may concern

i ***** ******* (Absolute construction & flooring) has been out of town working and just received all my mail. I have told ****** ******** that if she wanted stuff added to project that it would be additional funds to do that. i did everything as hired to do. My biggest issue with all this is she expects a lot of extra work done for free. i only replaced post across front of a porch that should have been replaced at the time of roof build. it was tied up and had 2x4 chunks of junk wood holding up back side of porch closest to trailer to hold it up! I offered to replace whole porch because of extreme poor condition its in for basically just cost of materials with very little labor and she refused. she wanted a 16 foot wide by 10 foot long roof built so it would cover wood where porch ended. i did everything asked and more but i put concrete under 4x4 poles rather than around it due to the poor condition of porch because it had to move with the junk porch she didnt want to replace. The porch was built to her asking and then some. I even gave her 10% off because of sons military status. She has been very rude and is uneducated but because she dug down 3 inches and didnt see concrete shes sayingits not there but it is. I told miss ******** if she wanted roof added it would be addition cost for materials and thats when all the issues started and the call was made to BBB. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE I did everything asked by her and she has been VERY disrespectful. A call should have been made to me or an email. i am gone for extended period of time due to mill work. I just now received all letters on the matter. I quit responding to her because of the ignorance of messages sent. I made it clear it would be addition money to add to roof and if that wasnt ok then she could call someone else. i built exactly what we agreed to and was contracted to build.

      Thank You

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have multiple screen shots of conversation between my self and ***. Multiple pictures showing he didn't do which of what was in our contract. I am not some silly girl he told me he would come back multiple times to fix all the issues.
He did not seal the porch roof to the home so water just pores inside when it rains. The little sealer they did try ran down my home walls and ruined the paint.
He did not even align the porch roof to the porch railing on the left side.
The 3, 4x4 posts were ABSOLUTELY NOT cemented anywhere in the ground because he told me he didn't want to have to get a permit, making it permanent to the home. Not to mention, he told me they WERE NOT CEMENTED IN. (to my face)
I paid to have a 2ft overhang that he switched on his own to a gutter.
I feel completely screwed over when I should have seen the signs the first excuse he gave about not coming, when originally planned.
He also informed me he had to fire some of his employees because they weren't doing things correctly . Again have screenshot of all our conversations.
I either want me money back or him to come back and do it RIGHT!

      Regards,

      ****** *******
