Very dishonest! I got an estimate from them for $220 and after he did the work I got a bill for $770! When I asked him why he said because extra work needed to be done! He did the extra work without obtaining consent to do so and never discussed how much the extra work would cost!!! And as if that wasn't bad enough one of the units still doesn't work!!!!! Business Response

On 6/24/24 my service technician arrived on site to see 2 outdoor condensing units one with chewed low voltage wires and a main power connection chewed by a larger animal. The other, upon removing the access panel to the electrical compartment, he found had wires chewed and high voltage compressor leads shorting. He told her it would take no more than $220.00 dollars to repair the damage.

I showed up 6/27/24. did the repair to the wires, replaced a bad electrical capacitor and started both systems. They both ran. I asked the customer if she would like the charge in the systems checked and to add refrigerant if needed. I got verbal approval so I did. I ran out of refrigerant to complete the charging of one system. I tried calling her to let her know that I was finished for now as I was out of refrigerant, and she should run it to see if it would require more. I then sent her a text of the invoice.

She called me back as I had left her property heading to another call. I explained everything to her and that I had sent her a text of the invoice. She called my office complaining that she never approved anything except that the first technician said that both systems would be fixed for $220.00 dollars. (She was billed an additional $550 for 4 lbs or R22 refrigerant with leak sealant and dye.)

She called 2 more times and spoke with me, calling me a scam artist and dishonest.
