We are new owners in the area, and we did not know Locklins owned the tank. On our contract, the propane tank was included in the sale. We were never informed about Locklins or contract. I call this morning, trying to hunt down the missing tank, and a very abrupt and rude customer service rep said it was there property and they have the right to take it back. Yes. I agree. But can you see our point or view? Why would I have reported a theft with the State Police? We thought we owned the tank, and I didn't even know about Locklins until the morning. Now, they want to charge to bring the tank back, and refill for $335. Area people and the State Trooper said the company would work with you, as it was an obvious mistake, but I do not want to use Locklins. They knew us, but we didn't know them, and now we're punished and without propane for now. Just bad bad business and costumer service. Also, really really bad real estate agent, too, for placing the propane tank on the included sales, and then not even telling us about the situation. One would think Locklins would have left a notice about the sudden removal of the tank. Or find out the new owners in The Hideout. They assumed we were just not paying the bill, and that assumption was totally inaccurate. Especially since they knew the property sold in January of last year. And had contact with the Re/Max agent. Total lack of empathy and understanding.
