I want to write a fair and honest review. Trying my best to be factual. I started my communication with them in November of 2021. They were very nice and supportive on the phone initially. After I paid the full amount up front, I was assigned to attorney ******. He spoke with me and was initially very encouraging and truly made me believe that he could get my upgrade done. Now after paying and starting out I feel like things went down from there. Looking back I believe they just wanted my money and did not truly believe they could help me with a discharge upgrade from the Army. One of the first things I noticed was a big turnover with their clerks or staff other than attorney's. Everytime I seemed to call which is another thing, I did not receive any type of update at all unless I called to ask for one. Then when I did there seemed to be a different paralegal working on my case everytime. So after 3 years of waiting and calling and asking if there was anything they could do. I finally got an answer of No, to my upgrade. Now, I get alot of the time and waiting was on the government and the backlog because of Covid. However I believe there are more professional ways to address that matter with a client who paid in full. As well as looking into trying to get answers for a client as to when or why regarding time. So after I received my answer back from the Government, I learned why they denied me and without going into too much detail and after speaking to another law firm. It seems like Crisp and Associates failed to properly do a good job with my case and include the right information needed to have a better chance at getting a change in my discharge. So for me and my experience I would say it was not very good at all. I personally would not recommend this company to other veterans at all. Especially when I have spoken to other veterans I know who had worse situations and cases than me and got overturned, very disappointing to say the least.
