    Bid on a sword through Hibid.com advertised as a Antique ******** Samurai Sword only to find out it is neither ******** nor Samurai. it is a Burmese Dha. Additionally, a surprise exorbitant blanket $50 shipping charge that was neither advertised nor warned of was added on at time of invoicing. Subsequent attempts to follow up and rectify this issue with the vendor and Hibid.com have been unacknowledged to date.     These guys are stand up guys. I bid on one item thinking it was another in my own haste and ended up winning the wrong item. It was my only bid and I won the WRONG item. These guys did not hold me to the item and cancelled the bid. They did not have to do this, but they made it right and did not charge me for the item I won. I will def use these guys again. As far as items and correctness and authinticity, do your own homework and know what you are buying.

    I purchased a purported Civil War" jacket from Rare Treasures at a very high price. When I received it, it was a reproduction. The seller agreed to take it back. However, he never refunded my money. Luckily, I purchased it on my American Express card and they refunded the money. Don't purchase anything from this vendor. He is not to be trusted.

    This Company sold me a "Confederate Boot Knife" thru Live Auctions ... the knife was an antique knife but manufactoried up North. No providence or evidence to say it had anything to do with the South or Confederacy ... I contacted the owner and he promised to call me back on several occasions after talking to the consigner ... he never called me back or never offered to make it right .... ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY .... MAKE FALSE CLAIMS TO GET THE PRICE UP
