    On 12/11/23 I called this practice to get an appointment for an issue I have been having with blurry vision, they were helpful at that time and scheduled me an appointment to be seen on 12/13/23 at 1310. Approximately one hour before my appointment they called to inform me that my appointment was canceled due to my secondary insurance *********** even though they do accept my primary insurance. I tried to explain that I needed to be seen due to an issue and that I have only ever used them for eye care therefore, it would be almost impossible to be seen elsewhere in a timely manner. I was informed that there was no way for me to be seen there due to them not accepting my secondary insurance. After taking some time to think things through I decided to call back this morning 12/18/23 and state that I would like to pay cash for my appointment in order to be seen for the issue I am still having. I was rudely told that it did not matter, and they would not be seeing me due to my secondary insurance. My mother also called the office and was repeatedly told the same thing until finally hanging up the phone. It is very frustrating that an office that I have been dealing with my entire life, the same office that performed my ***** procedure and sold me a lifetime enhancement warranty will not accept me as a patient due to my secondary insurance coverage. I think it is very poor practice and completely negligent. If I am to completely lose my vision due to their refusal to see me and the delay of care it would be completely their fault.
