On 10/21/2022, I had an appointment with a representative from PAMMJ to renew my medical marijuana doctor's certification. I completed the appointment and was charged $75 on my credit card. They said that they would provide the certification, however, I have not received any additional information. There is no phone number or email contact on their website so I have disputed the credit card charge. I don't believe they provide a legitimate service and fraudulently charge customers without providing any certification.

After receiving this complaint and checking into it, the customer is correct that his certification was not submitted. This was an administrative error and was in no way intentional. This problem has been resolved to make sure that the service that the customer paid for was completed. We have also refunded 100% of the customer's payment as an apology for the error on our part.

Every year I get a text or an email reminder from PAMMJ (licensed by DHS) to recertify my medical marijuana card. I clicked on the link from the text to a site that looks exactly like the government site with the Pennsylvania Keystone emblem and a DOH seal w/customer service number. Using my debit card, I paid 75$ for my annual recertification and made a telehealth appointment with an unnamed physician who did not show up; the appointment I paid for never happened. After speaking with DHS/DOH, I learned that www.PAMMJ.com is fraudulent while www.PAMMJ.gov is legitimate, so in short, I was scammed out of 75$. My bank will not allow me to dispute the charges because I "willingly" gave them my money. I think it's extra insidious that this website pretends to be part of DHS and that they somehow came into possession of contact info for MMJ patients.

If you visit our website, PAMMJ.com, you will see that there are multiple places where we declare that we are not the government, DOH, or anything of the sort. Before you can even book an appointment with us there is a disclaimer that we are not the DOH and it includes a link to their website. I don't know what to tell this person other than they should read things on the internet more carefully before entering their credit card number. In addition to all of this, this customer received the service that they paid for and chose not to pick up the phone, see attached screen shot of call log. Even though their bank wouldn't refund them, I did refund her payment on 9/2 before she complained to the BBB. This matter has been fully resolved financially and is not legitimate at all. This customer never even responded to any texts, calls or emails from our company to attempt to resolve the issue before complaining to the BBB. We are a small, locally owned, family operated company. Shame on you.
