May 17, 2024 they did my garage, porch, and patio. The garage floor had about 10 or 12 areas they put masking tape on floor that needed repaired. They ground the areas off, put new chips on and one coat of sealer. They were supposed to be in **** at 10 ******* and it was past 10 when they completed the first coat. They left without putting the second on which I think was a different type of sealer. Looking at the floor you can see every spot that they redid. One spot the chips are coming loose. I have called them several times. One employee stopped and said the name of the second coat that needed to be done. Four times the owner has told me he will stop tomorrow to look at it and has never showed up yet.

We met with ****** Ramp this evening 11/25/2024 to inspect his garage epoxy flooring system that our team installed this season.

Upon initial acceptance of the contract delivered March 11, 2024 and a deposit of 50% of the invoice total of $4702.50, Penn-Ohio Concrete Coatings promised to start our job by May 1, 2024. The job instead started June 11, 2024, due to weather, according to the owner. Weather in northeast Ohio is all the reason to avoid making such a promise. Going forward, the gentlemen performing the work had a challenging time removing the glue underneath the tile on our porch. It became obvious after having a conversation with their superior, they were instructed to discontinue their efforts to properly remove and repair the glue or properly repair the cracks in the surface, but instead, proceed with the application of the epoxy. It's clearly stated in Penn-Ohio Concrete's contract that the price may change if they run into issues with the glue removal and repair. I budgeted for such an event. Without having knowledge or an understanding of the process to properly coat my porch with an epoxy product, I did not ask the gentlemen to stop their work. The owner assured he would return the following week to complete the job and I planned to discuss the issue with him at that time. With the owner's assurance to return the following week to finish the job I paid Penn-Ohio Concrete Coatings an additional $1775.00. Unfortunately, the owner has not returned, my job is shotty and incomplete, and I'm hoping for help with a resolution.

This complaint is very confusing being the customer is scheduled for next Monday July 8th for our epoxy crew to finish small repair on patio. On the other hand customer is filing a complaint that she wants money back. Per our invoice contract we came across exposed rebar which we needed to order special material, there is an approx 1x3ft section that is not completed due to this unexpected repair. This is scheduled for next week and will be completed--- Per contract this would be on customer to pay for special material but our company waived any additional fees- The final work is being completed next week-
