The dealership advertised on their website, in the Used Cars for under $10,000 section, a 2022 Ford ******** with a sales price of $941. I drove an hour and half one-way to the dealership on Monday, 4/3/23, with all intentions of looking at this vehicle, getting the history, mileage, etc and purchasing the car. Photos of false advertisements attached. After arriving at the lot, ***** Rudd (salesman) came out to greet me. He asked what I was interested in and I told him the 2022 Ford ********. He brought out the vehicle and went to get a plate for a test drive. At this time, I checked the vin # that was advertised on the website and it matched the $941 car. When I showed him the picture of this car advertised for $941, ***** said they will not sell the car for that price. ***** and I went for a test drive and when we returned they appraised my 2013 ***** *** that I brought as a trade in. At this time, the financial manager came out to speak with me and I showed him the advertisement they had online with the price of $941. The financial manager said that they are not going to honor that price. They do not have control over the website and what is posted on it. They proceeded to offer me the vehicle for $51,564. I told them I drove an hour and a half for the vehicle that was advertised for a much lower price. I felt like this was a "bait and switch" tactic. I was willing to negotiate a better price but they were not. Since my visit, they have fixed the website and moved the car out of this category of Used Under $10k. Now the vehicle is priced for $51,564. (photo attached as well). The vin #'s match and it is clear that they were in a hurry to fix their mistake.

Purchased a used 2014 Ford ***** with 50,000 miles in 2020. In July 2022 had transmission problems and had to have transmission and cotrol module replaced under my extended warranty. Less than 3 months later it was back in the shop for the same issues. Dealership couldn't find what was wrong. Then again a couple months later it needs to go back in for the same issues as before. Contacted ford for a possible buy back option. Was informed due to the age of the vehicle it doesn't qualify for a buy back. The car has 80,000 miles and has been in the shop now going on three times in a year time frame. Have only had the car for about 3 years. I also have spent over $3,000 on rental cars while the car is at the dealership for repairs. I need to get rid of the vehicle as it is not safe to drive and has almost shut off when on the interstate. I currently owe $4,000 due to buying the extended warranty and need to have a reliable car. I know there is a class action suit for the transmission on the 2011-2016 Ford ***** and need further guidance on this issue. Thank you
