    About two months ago my whole process started with awe I received an exhaust that didnt fit I paid around ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** get my money back well after abt three weeks of emails and hassling i finally got aproved to send my part back and i sent it back waited three more weeks and finally got the confirmation that my part arrived and just to point out part match garentee doesnt mean anything by the way i paid another 200 to have it shipped back out of pocket and then they told me they would only send back part of what the part is worth so now ive spent about 1200 all together and they are saying the will send me back 650 dollars because they have a restocking fee and I should have read the fine print and clicked the link to view those extra details which is why i believe they use their part match garentee as selling point that actually will not help you one bit so i am warning anyone who is thinking about buying from *** to be careful because if your part isnt a perfect match off the bat then you will end up paying more and you will not get your full return it turns into a small money pit.

    *** ****** purchased an AWE Exhaust system from our website. Order # ****** was placed on 10/24/2024. The Exhaust was completed and shipped on 11/5/******** ****** placed the order for part # ****-33429, AWE Track Edition Axleback Exhaust for *** G2X 330i/430i With Diamond black tips. **************** that he has a 2023 *** 330i with a 2.0L engine. Part # ****-33429, is listed to fit the car that *** ****** listed in his ticket. *** ****** submitted a return Request on November 12. 2024. Stating, Does Not Fit The Car I Have The Rear Support Is In The Way And Even When Removed And Taken To Shop It Wouldnt Go / Still In Box*** ****** also added It never made it on my car it wouldnt fit. Also you guys offer a part match garentee yet I have to pay 200$ to ship it back is there anyway to get around that using your shipping*** ****** then submitted another ticket on November 12, 2024 @ 1:03pm. Requesting a return shipping label to be emailed to him. Since *** ****** Went against the instructions, we have listed on our warranty page and made the decision to remove the exhaust system without providing any images of the issue he was running into. We have no reason to believe that there is anything wrong with the build. Below is a link to our warranty page and the instruction advising a customer what to do in the exact situation *** ****** found himself to be in. ***************************************************** If you remove, we can not approve. If a product issue is discovered after installation, do not remove the product before receiving confirmation of a return approval from the original place of purchase. On-car information can often lead to diagnosis and action plans; AWE requires a chance to address in this manner. Post-install products removed prior to return authorization will be denied any warranty claim Due to the conflicting messages *** ****** sent regarding whether the Exhaust system was installed on the car or new in the box and in resealable condition. We sent an email to him on November 12, 2024, advising him that we needed to know if the Exhaust was in new condition and never installed on his car. Mr ****** replied with Yes its brand new I said I couldnt get it installed it wouldnt fit right. We then replied asking him for a few images or a video the shows the brace hitting for us to review. *** ***** replied with I dont really wanna mess with it much more I know it doesnt fit I took it in after I couldnt get it to fit to my buddys shop they couldnt get it to so Im just wanting the return and find another so Im it wont fit so theres no point of taking it in the guys at the shop said its the wrong peice for my car the exhaust is in perfect shape still and everything is packaged exactly how it was when I got it *** ****** then sent another email stating he was sending the Exhaust system back to us. We responded to *** ******s email advising him that a return Authorization was not approved at that time as we needed to know if the car was turned on while the Exhaust was installed on the car. *** ****** replied and let us know that the engine was not turned on with the Exhaust installed on the car and demanded that we return the exhaust and give him his money back. At that point we received confirmation that the exhaust system was not used and we approved a return authorization number for *** ****** We sent *** ****** return instructions via email. The instructions call out that there is a 20% restock fee on all returned items. (See below). Aidan,Thanks for the email response. Please read the following carefully: A Return Merchandise Authorization number (*** number) has been set up for you. It is 3302 Return Merchandise Authorizations are good for 30 days The *** number must be *clearly visible* on the outside of the package. Products without this will be returned to sender at senders expense.Package the item in a suitable container for shipment. Improper packaging may void the ********* soon as we get it back, well inspect it, and start the process of applying applicable credits back to you. This step is usually a few working ******* is recommended you insure the package for its ******** soon as we green light the credit, please note that your credit card company can take up to 30 working days for you to see the credit.Please print this email and put it in the box.Please send us the Tracking number for the return. Any components of the exhaust system that arrive back to us with damage or deemed to be unsellable, will result in the deduction of the value for that part from the refunded amount. Thanks again for choosing ***, lets get this done! PS: Below is the return address: AWE returns department ************************************* Please insure the product for full replacement ******** per our published Condition Of Sale, we reserve the right to charge a 20% restock fee on all returned items.We sent *** ****** and email on December 5th, 2024 letting him know that his return completed the check in process and our finance team issued a refund that should show up in his account in the days to follow. That was the last communication that we had with *** ******
