On 4/12/23 we ordered a large pizza and a soda from Palermo's. The cost was $19.24. They ended up charging our debit card/bank account $919.24. As a result we overdrew our account and were charged fees. My husband went to Palermo's and spoke with the owner. The owner insists they only charged us $19.24 and refused to credit us our money. My husband offered to show him our bank statement, but he did not want to see it. My husband went to our bank (*********) and they contacted ******************* (Palermos' bank) and they claim only $19.24 was charged. Our bank feels this is fraud and they have started an investigation. However they can't promise we will get our $900 back and if we do, it could take up to 90 days. This is a lot of money. We are unable to pay bills because of this. We want our money bank.
