    August 29, 2024, went to get oil changed, paid $65 cash for discount for not using card, didn't get a receipt. When came home, checked oil, looked dirty and not changed. Went back to business to let know, wasn't open, went to Ford Dealer on August 30, explained situation, they verified the oil had not been changed and was a Ford oil filter which was put on by them the last time it was changed. They confirmed it wasn't changed, and that the oil plug was on the verge of falling out. I took the used filter back to the Wiernik store and told him that he didn't change my oil, which was confirmed by the Ford Dealer and showed him the used filter. He denied it and refused to refund my money. This business should be closed for such deceptive practices. If someone just assumed it was changed, they would never know or check!

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced following your visit on August 29, 2024. While our standard procedure is to ensure all services are performed to the highest standards, we understand your concerns regarding the oil change.

    Upon reviewing our records, we have a receipt from Advanced Auto confirming that a Motorcraft filter (used by Ford) was installed by our shop on your vehicle on August 29th. Additionally, our shop video footage supports the fact that both the oil and the filter were changed during your service.

    We wish you would have come back to the shop during business hours to address this matter directly with management, rather than going to a dealership.  We understand that the Ford dealership provided a differing opinion,
    which may have been influenced by their ability to charge you for an
    unnecessary oil change and new filter, given that these services had
    already been completed. 

    To further resolve this situation, we would like to offer you an opportunity to bring your vehicle back to our shop for an inspection. We want to ensure your vehicle is in the best condition possible and demonstrate our commitment to transparency and quality service.

    On Friday, 15 July 2022, I received an oil change at W****** Quick Lube in Imperial. I did not drive my car much that day after the oil change. The next day, I began a five hour road trip to Virginia, and after stopping about 2 hours in, realized my vehicle was smoking under the hood. I lifted the hood to see that the oil cap for my vehicle was gone, and oil was everywhere under my hood, covering my engine and causing the smoke. After hours of working through the issue at a rest area in Maryland, a good samaritan from a local auto store brought me a quart of oil and a spare oil cap. I have contacted W****** several times asking for a refund- when they do pick up the phone (only twice in the course of calling them multiple times a day for nearly two weeks) they take a message and have never called me back or attempted to rectify the issue. I would like a reimbursement on the oil change ($45), the professional detailing I had to receive to clean under my car hood ($80) and the $50 I paid the local mechanic for bringing me the oil and a cap. On my first phone call with them, the mechanic who had changed my oil answered the phone, apologized for not putting the cap back on correctly, and told me they would reimburse me for the detailing and replacement oil. I have never received a call back, reimbursement, etc. and they have proven impossible to contact. I also want to make sure other consumers are warned about this establishment. I know of no permanent damage to my vehicle at this time. Thank you for any help you can give. I have hard copy receipts of the transactions (oil change and detailing), and will scan and upload them if required. I paid for the extra oil/cap delivery with cash to the man that helped me. Thank you.

    Hi yes this the owner Brandon w******. I had spoke with margo the day she called explaining the issue . However before even calling me she decided to write a bad review about the business before giving the opportunity to even make it right. I told her I would cover the costs of her oil cap and any oil needed to be added to the car. I did have a missed message from her later that week in which I tried reaching her Friday morning in which she did not answer.
